Is this forum different without Repping?

It doesn't mean much to me at least because rep only means as much as you're reaction to gaining or losing one.

Rep is a way to put people in their place, but only if people give a shit about rep.

I have to agree. I miss +rep people. Now I'll be stuck at 0 rep for the rest of my fakku life.

anyway I'm not too sure anyone really cares about being upped or downed
now on one side I did join late last month I believe, so I never really seen what this forum was like with reps but there was a few posts I did think were funny or interesting that I did want to +rep but couldn't and was slightly disappointed just very slightly

on a different side I don't think I would really value the -/+ rep system too much far as I'm concerned people should just be themselves and not try to impress people all the time

I would have +repped many users in noseblead and some others who made me laugh by now.
I didn't -rep much, but when I did, it was with a good reason.
I think disabling the rep system was for all those whining about their reason of butthurt, and for those who didn't realize how pointless (but useful) it was.
Basicly and e-pen-meter, but your could use it to show your appreciation to someone or give them a virtual bitchslap.

There was a time where you didn't even get a notification about rep changes. For some reason, somewhere, someone gave you negative rep because someone is butthurt, that's great to know. I always had an issue with it never actually showing who pressed the button. The only time I ever had any actual relation to the rep changes was when people post "wow thanks, have +rep", which defeated the whole purpose of the system anyway.

I don't really mind it, though there are times when i hate not being able to +rep some posts.

I miss it cause it sometimes showed your creativity when others liked your comments.
