Is this forum different without Repping?

Do you feel different about the forums with repping (+1/-1) currently broken? Is it easier for you to post things without the fear of getting grey letters and extra notifications? Or maybe it's less exciting because people don't visibly worship the boards you post on? Personally, IBs a lot easier to wade into, especially for newer folk, but I do miss the random pick-me-up or just a notification here and there. Heck, I miss the whole visceral social mini-game aspect of repping just because it's different than other forums.
