Haven't been paying much attention to sports this year. It's the same old stuff year after year for me anyways. It kinda gets boring after a while.

Grabovski is...ok, I guess...but first line? Really? Francois Beauchemin's ok too I guess. Not as good as his Anaheim days, but then again he had Scott Nedermeyier and Chris Pronger to back him up, not to mention all the good forwards they had a few years back...
Brian Burke must be sweating like crazy..

I remember when Burke came along. Everyone was saying how he was gonna be the savior or something. It's hilarious to see how opinions change so quickly.
The entire organization needs to to be fired and then rebuilt from the ground again. MLSE (the owners) only care about making a buck. They seriously know nothing about sports.
There's no excuse why none of the teams have made the playoffs in the past few years. At least the Jays are stuck in a hard as hell division so they get some type of break from people here.

I don't think the head coach should be blamed for this. He does what he can with the players they have. Phaneuf and Kessel were supposed to be 2 BIG difference makers in Toronto, they're not doing it. J.S. Giguere has seen better days...and it's obvious to me right now that they don't have some good consistant scoring forwards.
On a different note, did anybody expect the devils to be THIS bad this year? What the hell happened? NO ONE is playing like they should be, Kovalchuk and Elias are struggling, Brodeur is....well, getting old, their D-man suck...

Habs just lost to the stars 5-2.
This makes their last five game record 1-4.
Oh god...I'm getting a bad feeling about the second half of the season...

Penguins fan here, also a closet leafs fan that hates watching them lose. I haven't had much time to watch them recently, but how did their awesome start to this season turn so sour?
Looking forward to the classic this year, will be nice to watch a game like that at a sane time for once, i'm English :)

Maaaaaaan.... it's not enough that, like, half the D-man of the HABS have been injured, and now Chara does this fucking bullshit?
The HABS were having a decent season so far, despite all the injuries and Pacioretty was finally starting to produce some goals with Gomez and Gionta, and now this shit happens.
*Edit*
Worst part being, Chara didn't even get suspended for this: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=555520#&navid=nhl-search

I like what I'm seeing from the Canucks. Cliched division title, guaranteed place in the playoffs, currently first place in the Western conference...
Hope things go well for them in the play offs... This might be their year.

Well the Canucks just clinched the Western conference by beating the Preds 3-1. I just hope they don't have a disappointing first round outting after such an awesome season...

Well, my Sharks are doing well. It seems we have a strong hold on the Pacific Division with the season winding down. Hopefully, this will be the year. Our core is getting older and their window is closing.

And the Montreal Canadiens just need 3 points to clinch a spot now. Honestly though, I'm gonna be watching the Canucks with much more anticipation. With the season they've had, the lines, Roberto playing fairly well...
I really hope this is their year.

Yep, I seriously hope that Luongo can take the pressure. If not, we also have a great, if not amazing, back-up with Schneider.
But we took some heavy casualties. Malhotra, Edler, Sammuelson, Hamhuis and even Alberts. Our defense is in dire shapes right now. Losing our main face-off man is a definite big blow. There's absolutely no way Malhotra can play, maybe even forever. Eye surgery is an extremely big deal in any sport. Sammuelson and Hamhuis are listed day-to-day, so hopefully they'll be back in the line-up come playoffs. Edler is still indefinite which is a shame.

PLAY OFFS BEGIN THIS WEDNESDAY, 7:00 PM.
Anybody looking forward to some match-ups? I'll watch the Canuck/hawk game, that's for sure.

2 points seperate the 4-8 in the West. Haha. I would have loved to have played the Ducks in the first round and win. Then I can shove it to the WNF crew.
Go Sharks! This'll be the year! RAWR!

play offs so far have been awesome.
My predictions;
I expect Vancouver to take a 2-0 series lead. Chicago has just lost so much because of the salary cap (and greedy players) that I just don't think they are cup contenders this year. Anaheim and Boston will bounce back and tie their series 1-1. Anaheim looked like they were on cruise control vs Nashville. As for Boston, no denying the HABS got a lucky goal from the start and Price held his ground to keep the game 1-0. Boston will go all out second game, I believe.
