I was really worried when the Bruins got 2 quick goals and took the lead 2-1 in the 2nd period. I thought it was gonna be shutdown hockey till the end of the game, but Daniel Sedin proved me wrong, and Burrows got the wrap-around goal to end it.

Typical biased/double standard bullshit. Where the fuck was the league when Chara damn near killed Pacioretty? NOTHING was called on that, "it didn't seem like a dirty hit" is what the league said on that.






The Rome/Horton hit wasn't dirty. It was a north/south hit, and the head wasn't the target of the hit. The league clearly said at the start of the season that they were going to do their best in eleminating East/West kinds of hit where the head is targeted.


The problem was Horton didn't see Rome coming, he was making a pass and by the time he looked in front of him... BAM. Lights out.

Look at the replay, look in the middle of the ice. It was Horton and Rome and then Horton made a pass...

The Rome suspension is bullshit. They obviously based it off the injury. The hit was clean. Late, but clean. A 2-game suspension would've been the right call. This league is full of shit when it comes to suspensions. That Eager hit on Daniel was worse in the Game 2. If Daniel didn't get back up, would it have been a 5 minute major and ejection, followed by a suspension? It better be. That was a dirty hit. Completely blindsided.

Rome fucked up, but so did Hortan. The first thing you learn in hockey is keep your goddamn head up. He was too busy looking at his pass to realize that he is in a position that is quite vulnerable. It was a damn clean hit. No elbow, shoulder to the chest. It was not a hit from behind. A perfect hockey hit. The injury was unfortunate. The double standards in this league make me sick.
