NHL 2010-2011 finale: (1)Vancouver vs. (3)Boston

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
Game 2 of the series, Pens vs. Lightning.
3-0 Pens was the final from Wednesday's game. And that was with a few of our starters out for the game (Crosby, Malkin) I don't want to jump the gun yet, but I feel pretty good about tonights game.
That was a terrible game...

play offs so far have been awesome.My predictions;
I expect Vancouver to take a 2-0 series lead. Chicago has just lost so much because of the salary cap (and greedy players) that I just don't think they are cup contenders this year. Anaheim and Boston will bounce back and tie their series 1-1. Anaheim looked like they were on cruise control vs Nashville. As for Boston, no denying the HABS got a lucky goal from the start and Price held his ground to keep the game 1-0. Boston will go all out second game, I believe.
Loving the Vancouver/Chicago series so far. It's everything a hockey game should be. Hard hitting, fast, and extremely entertaining. I'll admit Luongo definitely did not look as sharp as he did in Game 1. It wasn't a bad game by any stretch, but definitely not his best. I'm guessing it's probably the gitters as Hawks usually have a really dominate Game 2. But our offense stepped up and I'm absolutely loving Edler's play. Vancouver has seriously picked up their game.
As for Montreal vs Boston, as much as it pains me to say it as a Canadian, Boston has them outclassed. I really don't see Montreal winning this series. But stranger things have happened. Montreal did win against 2009-2010 President's Trophy winner Washington. But with Tim Thomas in net, I seriously doubt the Canadien's chances this time around.

there's nothing to be "pained" about saying the truth. The main reason the Canadiens are in the play offs is because of Price. Markov, their best d-man by far (and one of the best in the league) is out for the rest of the season. Camaleri was injured for a while so that didn't help. Gionta+Gomez+Pacioretty line was good till that asshole Chara fucked things up...
The only way they'll win is if Price can stop every single puck thrown his direction, lol.

WHAT THE HELL.... Disappointing games 4 and 5 to watch of Chicago and Vancouver series. It's the exact repeat of last year. I dunno what I'll do if the Canucks lose game 6 (insert ridiculous score - 1) and head to game 7.

well the red wings clean sweeped the coyotes >_> bunch of bums on the coyotes...well except shane doan, stephen reinpricht and derek morris.

Montreal and Vancouver have their arrogance/overconfidence to blame. As for Phoenix... goddamn how can you end a season on a fairly good note like they have only to be swept away in 4 games... it felt like they weren't even trying.
I believe Washington will wrap their series up in the next game. The lightning might win game 5, but I think they will lose in game 6, and the Penguins will move on

Epic fail on Vancouver's part. They should have long eliminated the hawks but now they're facing game 7 and elimination. Great season that could all go down the drain soon.
And poor Perry/Selane :(
Hope this isn't Selane's last season...

hey gaiz we're back to when the play offs started!
but seriously, Canucks won game 1! Sharks only have their bad defense to blame for this loss.

Uguu.... Sharks were outplayed all game. Lucky we even had a lead...
But bad defense is right... I know we can play better than that.

It could've been worse. The Sharks weren't completely hopeless all game.
Also, did anyone else find the back to back goalie fuck-up goals kinda funny? Luongo throws it to Thornton, Niemi turns around and does the same thing.

The Sharks weren't outplayed the entire game. They played damn good for the first 37 minutes. But those late chances gave the Canucks a huge momentum swing going to the 3rd period. After that, it was all but over. As a Canucks fan, it feels fucking good to see all lines producing. The Sedins have finally picked it up (thanks to the Sharks relatively weak defense compared to the Preds). The Sharks don't have a shut-down pair of Ds that is necessary to contain them. Boyle is good, but I see him as more of an offensive type of D-man; kinda like Erhoff.
A damn good game. Better than any of the Nashville games for sure. Can't wait to watch Game 2.
*Edit*
BWAHAHAHAHAH 7-3 win. Fucking Eager was too eager.

Lots of goals being scored so far in both series, just the way i like it. Fuck goaltender battles, let this be a "who can score more" battle.

GO SHARKS!!! RAWR! DUN BLOW THIS HUGE lead!hey, your sharks got damn lucky. The shitty first period ended up costing the Canucks the game, but they made a hell of a comeback nonetheless. Game 4, Canucks will win.

I don't know... The Canucks just had tons of penalties all game. The Sharks started to take some stupid penalties in the third as well. Gotta limit those.

McGinn was probably thinking
I'm gonna get you... wait WTF..
other than that, during the game some of the calls were really iffy
its like there's a message being told to these officials to make it a series or something
SJ's powerplay really lost them the game 4 tho with 5 failed opportunities
credits to Canucks D men and P kill
