7 years of guitar, and I'm barely decent, I know people who have been playing for like a year and is already way better than me.
Switched to bass pretty much exactly a year ago now, and I'm a lot better at it.

yay~ go us! I wanted to play the Piano, but my parents said they couldn't afford lessons etc, so they got me the clarinet, I eventually learned it, and later go a saxophone few years later.

2 years at guitar, kick ass at rhythm but am just starting to get the basics for improvised lead playing down. I would like to take up violin at the end of this summer if money provides me the opportunity.
