Play Any Musical Instruments?

I play guitar but it has been some time already. Too busy because of school :/

I've played the guitar on and off for almost 10 years? I think... I know how to play the bass guitar too... and a bamboo flute!

well...i can play all instruments,because of my sick grandfather forced me to do so..I once had a band when I was in school,but my band broke up due to differences in the music flow..so now,i'm only play instruments when i got the mood..

I've played violin for 10 years, electric bass on and off for 3 years, accoustic guitar for 5 years, and I've recently started playing the bodhran.

Guitar on and off for about 10 or 11 years, drums for like 1 or 2 years, harmonica for 6 years, and learning keyboard/piano. I really like the blues, so I guess it's natural that I would learn some of it's base instruments. Also, though you don't play them in the traditional sense, drum machines and other electronic devices are pretty nice.

I played the Viola for about 3 months, then I moved to the Piano which I played consistently for about 3 or 4 years then off and on for about 5 years or so, after that I switched to the trumpet, and played that for about 7 years, only stopping when I had braces and when I left for college. Along with the trumpet, I have played the baritone horn for around 2 and a half years or so, and as such I can sort of play the valve trombone and other related instruments, since the fingerings for the notes are the same as for the baritone horn and trumpet.

I play a 6 string bass!

I play Guitar and 4-string Base. Learning Drums.

I know my way around the Keyboard. :)

When I was a kid I tried to play many instruments but just gave up (my poor mum bought me a guitar and I ended up not using it >_>')

However during one music lesson I was introduced to the drums, and decided to also test those out, although I was left handed I quickly got use to it, and began to love playing the drums, but for a reason I can't remember I just simply stopped.

I've regretted it ever since and have always wanted to pick it up again, never too late though huh?

It's never too late to get back into music. Go for it! :)

Played the violin seriously for 14 years, but lost touch with it after I entered college as a business major. I'm still working on my performance minor, but I'm nowhere near the level of playing I used to be at during high school. :s

I play drums, and I'm SLOWLY picking up piano...

Of course this is probably different for everyone else, but when I was starting to look for easy songs to play, one of the first ones I ever tried was Enter Sandman by Metallica. It's opening is a bit of good practice for playing notes across different strings if you're still a beginner and don't quite have it down yet.

I'd love to learn how to play the piano better , but find myself distracted by the shamisen ,and spend any other free time on other things.

I played flute for a year back in middle school & I can sort of play piano but I usually make things up but it sounds legit. Takes me a while to get the keys right through with piano.

Well, i've been learning to play the guitar for about a year and a half now. I can play a few songs, but nothing too complicated. I use a BC Rich Avenge S.O.B. guitar, which I kind of hate because it's very uncomfortable. so yeah...




well I've been trying to play "to be with you" by Mr. Big, it's a really nice acoustic song, but it's kind of complicated, or at least for me it is. maybe try that one, i'm sure with enough practice you could play it ^_^
