Oh DEFIANTLY!What did you have in mind?
[font=Verdana][color=green]A prediction of the score sounds the fairest and best solution. However, the other method could be goals scored. As such, I propose these two different bets, you can match which ever one you prefer:
Arsenal 1 - 2 Chelsea.
3 goals or less.
The problem with the score prediction is that we could have a scenario where we are equal goals away from the score i.e. I predict 1 - 1 you predict 3 - 3 and it's actually 2 - 2. In that situation, would it be fair to say that you would win, as it's already past my score?
How do you match that? What shall be the penalty as well? :o
I was going to go with a simple Win or Lose, but that's fine.
Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea (It's a long shot >_>)
3 goals or more. (Did I have another choice?)
Hmmm, penalty. Maybe after every post you have to put: (Username) Is Better Than Me At Predicting Scorelines. IDK?

[font=Verdana][color=green]Win/loss actually makes things simpler. Let's go with that. If it's a draw...we could predict the score of the draw as a tie-breaker. So:
Chelsea win OR 2 - 2 draw.
That penalty sounds good. Maybe also have in our signatures either a Chelsea badge or Arsenal badge, with a comment pertaining to the bet?

Okay.
Arsenal win or 1-1 Draw.
Clubs badge and the "(username) is better than me" comment sounds good in the Signature.
When is this game again? I hope it doesn't get postponed XD

[font=Verdana][color=green]Sweet, get ready to change your signature. The game is on the 27th, 8 o'clock at the Emirates. I'm kinda mad to predict my score; but it'll be Chelsea's first really serious test for quite some time, so they better step-up!

Cant wait for the transfer window now, Man Utd NEED a new Keeper and so do Arsenal... Love to see them getting in some new blood! (Sergio Asenjo aint doing shit Arsene and Akinfeev needs a new club Fergie)
LETS GET IT ON!!! (Buy Buy Buy) :D~

Arsenal V Chelsea match tomorrow.Let the best team win, Sam!
Actually, you got it wrong. It should be "May the best gambler/pundit win". :D
I would say Arsenal would chalk up a win against Chelsea, possibly 1-0.
Why do I say so? Out of 8 matches held over the weekend (1 was postponed), only 2 home teams have won. The scoreline of 1-0 has yet to appear for the weekend.
A draw is also very likely since none of the premier league matches played ended in a draw.
In any case, the above is an indication of how I place bets. :D

Well, that doesn't mean that this match has to follow the other 8 matches.
I hope I seem more than a single goal.
EDIT:
SAM, I DO BELIEVE I AM THE VICTOR!

[font=Verdana][color=green]I do believe I was soundly beaten here. Can't believe it was that terrible, but a bet is a bet. I haven't been on the internet for over a week, so I'm sorry I've only responded now.
I'll make a signature today =P
EDIT: It's been made; rather impressive too I may say. However, I'm very pleased at the results last night ;)

man united gonna win this shit. Have fun with your carling cup Arsenlol fans[font=Verdana][color=green]Even though I'd like to disagree with this comment, it does seem very hard for anyone to beat them. All the stats point in their favour...=/

Giving up already?
If I do recall, there is only HALF a season played. Didn't know that the Premier League ended so early.

[font=Verdana][color=green]It's not that I'm giving up, it's just very hard to disagree with them at the moment. Sure as hell, I know Chelsea have it in them to beat them, but we are playing terribly at the moment. We struggled to beat Bolton....BOLTON! Ah well, let's see how it pans out.

[font=Verdana][color=green]So, how do people think the results went today?
[spoil][font=Verdana][color=green]Birmingham 0-3 Arsenal
Liverpool 2-1 Bolton
Man City 1-0 Blackpool
Stoke 2-0 Everton
Sunderland 3-0 Blackburn
Tottenham 1-0 Fulham
West Brom 1-2 Man Utd
West Ham 2-0 Wolverhampton
The results don't benefit my team at all. But, may I say that Man U were very lucky boys, as well as Liverpool. Roy Hodgson certainly needed that win.

If you browse the other football thread, I believe I posted pre season that I thought Arsenal would win the title. With the massive shortcomings of every other side, I stick by that.

Being a Chelsea fan, I'd simply hate for another London club to win the league. I respectfully disagree unfortunately.
Of course, the bet will be "Where will the league winner come from; Manchester or London?" Very hard to call. Very.
