Yeah, sure. A similar sig-defiling forfeit? I have to hope that United's squad isn't good enough, really, otherwise we won't end up buying the players we need.[font=Verdana][color=green]That seems fair game to me. However, seeing as this bet is far more major than others posted, I'm also thinking an entire thread posted in IB, declaring how brilliant the other one is.
Anyone else is free to join me in the bet; but be known that I'm betting in Manchester's favour.
How about that, Dos?

I'd like to think about this one.
Give me like a day....

Chelsea you make me sad. Draws and loses equal firings. I don't like seeing Blackburn getting picked on, but I expect Chelsea to crush them. A close win or tie will make me feel disappointed. Need to have a dominating performance.

At least Blackburn beat Liverpool; but then again it might give them confidence.
I don't know what to think anymore. The worse decision so far was to sack Ray Wilkins. It all started when that happened.

Blackburn dominated the reverse fixture while you still had Wilkins; the movement and passing by both Dioufs was amazing, Jason Roberts just couldn't finish. Another 1-1 draw methinks.

Besides, that match was a Blackburn's homeground. This is at Stamford Bridge; admittedly a weakened fortress but a fortress nonetheless. I still feel we can win it; despite them winning at Liverpool.

I am not a Liverpool fan and I thought I must as well ask the neutrals too.
What does everyone think about the sacking of Roy Hodgson and the appointment of Kenny Dalglish as manager of Liverpool?

I'm not familiar with Kenny, so I don't have an opinion on the matter.
I do hope they get better though. Torres seems fed up.

Dalglish is only a filler for the coach position, he might be replace on next season.
maybe we should ask waar opinion about these since he is liverpool fans as far as i have learned.

[font=Verdana][color=green]I feel sorry for Roy. He is a great manager, it's just that it didn't quite work out at Liverpool. I feel that he should've been allowed either until March or the end of the season altogether; give him a chance to dabble in the January Transfer window a little bit.
I know Kenny managed Liverpool in the 80's, but apart from that, I don't know much else about his managerial achievements. I, of course, won't wish him the best of luck, as I hate Liverpool.

I don't hate Liverpool, surprisingly, but I will happily laugh at them when they're down. :p
Hodgson deserved to go. You can argue that he should have been given the transfer window and then some to really try and make his mark on the side, but from the man who bought Poulson and Konchesky, who played Meireles on the wing and Gerrard out of position in the middle, who refused to adopt attacking play against any half decent team and who was evidently failing to motivate his players...he wasn't entirely culpable with the players Rafa left him and the attitudes of the players, but I firmly believe that he was way out of his depth in terms of the stability and aims of the club.
Kenny will be better with the players and the fans, but I don't believe him to be as good a manager overall. Europa League level for the foreseeable future.

Being a manager is not an easy job.
On occasions, it may not be the manager who makes the team; it may be the team who makes the manager. I was discussing the issue with one of my colleagues. Take for example the Barcelona of today, with such talent available in the squad, it is not difficult to pull off wins against lesser opponents, but of course, expectations are just as high.
Assuming a manager from Barcelona moves to another club after winning lots of trophies, would he be able to pull off the same feat again with the new team?

[font=Verdana][color=green]Yes, I agree with this post entirely. Using Barcelona as an example again, Josep Guardiola managed them to a treble two seasons ago. Now, considering that he had little/no experience as a manager before that, it would be fairly safe to say that the team did most of the work.
