A ray of Tsunlight.
I had seen it in theaters earlier, but rented it again to re-watch.
Terminator:Salvation
9/10
Really, it helps to be a fan of the series as I am to really like it. As it develops on the story from the first movie, showing things like the T-600, H-Ks (Hunter-Killers) and so forth. Really gives you a lot of depth of SkyNet and the like.
Even if you didn't pay too much attention to the other movies, it's still enjoyable, with good action, good special effects, etc.

Great Movie! I love Sung Kang's attitude. It's a shame that the movie got overshadow by that dark cloud known as Twilight 2

Umm~.. How should I explain this ^_^a .. The music was great, really give the old town atmosphere and life XD, the actions is well.. not bad, the chemical explanation is wow, and the most interesting part are the characters and the plot XD.. It showed us how there's no such thing as magic and unexplained phenomena even if it looks impossible

Nine (the musical not the animated film)
6/10
Nine turned out to be a somewhat entertaining film, unfortunately there's not much story going for it. Daniel Day-Lewis and Marion Cotillard were still great though, pretty much the main reason I wanted to check this flick out.

Inkheart - 7/10
Good idea, half-assed execution. I was hoping to see more book characters, they could've expanded so much more. Something that bothered me however, was that the heroes' location changed with every scene and the final fight against the villain, was solved in a pretty lame way. Still, a good movie to watch if you need to kill an hour or so.

Saw "Daybreakers" Saturday.
I give it a 7.5, maybe an 8. It's a great film, especially if your sick and tired of all the gay Twilight/Vampire Diaries/True Blood w/e fucking crap and want some nick-chomping gore. It's short though, so don't expect a lot of character development.

Curious and Wondering
Saw "Avatar" a few days ago.
I rate it a 9.2/10... so far the best movie of the year would be QT's... "Avatar" features extensive animation, impressive renditions and me and my gf liked it, but I thought it could have used more juice in the story than what it had. I felt that the story should be more engaging than the visual effects... "Avatar" is more critically praised for its CGI than its story.
Nevertheless, we walked out of the cinema feeling pretty satiated.

Ghost In The Shell 2.0
9/10
The remastered version is very nice and cool. Of course Ghost In The Shell is godly to begin with. Now add in a few scenes that have been re-don with todays cgi and technology and you get some extremly cool scences. Only problem I got, which is why I did not give it a 10/10, is that the mixing of the cgi and normal anime was at times so different that it should have just not been done. Truthfully I only saw this problem in the beginning, the rest was damn well kickass. Truthfully I think that, Yes it may have been weird to do but that they should have re-done the entire thing with cgi. Thats what I thought they were going to do. Anyway in short if your a GITS nut like I am you will like the 2.0 version.

I was surprised, to be honest. When my brother first said he had bought some bollywood ninja musical, I laughed and laughed, but I guess the joke is on me now. This is definitely a silly movie, but it is quite a lot of fun as well. The musical numbers, at least most of them, aren't bad and done with pretty decent choreography. Despite that, the action hasn't really suffered; there's a decent amount of fighting as well as a plot that ...somehow sort of makes sense. The whole thing has an almost epic feel to it that will keep you watching from beginning to finish, despite all the cheesy humor. Nice work guys.

Zombieland - 8/10
I expected it to be like those typical zombie movies that I've seen in the past but I was pleasantly surprised to find out otherwise. It's pretty good, actually and pretty funny.

Teeth 6.5/10

This was funny. Not exactly ha-ha funny at some times either, but just...peculiar. The whole movie revolves around the idea that this girl has teeth in her vagoo, and somehow this got the 'horror' tag on its description. This was why I watched it, since I thought to myself...hey, how can this possibly be a horror movie? What exactly does this chick do to ...I dunno, terrorize people?
Turns out the answer is quite simple. Everyone in that damn town she lives in is some sort of rapist. Her new friend from the celibacy club (That alone was funny), her doctor, her brother, that guy next door...it's like a fucking epidemic. Literally. Why does everyone want to get into this chicks pants, even after she tries to explain that there are teeth in her special place? I laughed my ass off, that's all I can say.

8/10 - Points off for shoddy camerawork in places and alien-human sex. (Hey, I find it detracts from things!)

Dead Alive
6/10
Directed by Peter Jackson, the guy who did the Lord of the Rings movies, this is a pretty famous movie. Not just because of Jackson though; it also has a ton of blood. Seriously, like enough blood to equal 2,000 pounds.
Unfortunately, the movie isn't that great. The main character's actions make no sense whatsoever, so as I'm watching, I keep asking myself, "Why the fuck did he do that? Why doesn't he do something smart for once?" The gore is great, but the story sucks, due in large part to the stupidity of the main character. The humor is sometimes good but often crappy. "Oh, he's slipping on blood because there's so much of it. That's funny. Heh . . . it's been two minutes, and he's still slipping. Great."
The worst part of it all is that the movie basically goes like this: Five minutes of cool stuff, twenty minutes of boring shit, five minutes of cool stuff, forty minutes of boring shit, and then finally, thirty minutes of uninterrupted gore, which actually gets boring because it's nonstop. It's like a fantastic guitar riff - when you hear it in the middle of the song, you rock out, but when the entire song is the guitar riff, you get tired of it. This movie would have been a lot better if it had spread out the gore instead of sticking it all in the last half hour.

Funny People 6/10
I remember seeing commercials for this on TV when it first came out, and I always thought that it looked sorta funny. Of course it did from the commercials, since apparently they wasted most of the funny stuff right there.
The plot is kinda weird. Adam Sandler plays George Simmons, although I'm not sure why. The character is almost exactly what Adam Sandler is probably like in real life, a comedian who does goofy voices and has some funny(?) comedic movies under his belt. Unfortunately, George finds out he's about to die, so he befriends Seth Rogen's character who begins to be his friend and write jokes for him. Up until that point it isn't bad. You get those two trying to be funny, but you also get Sandler meeting all his comedy friends, and some of those are pretty good moments. There's a part where he's eating lunch with Eminem that cracked me up.
It's downhill from there, as he gets together with his old girlfriend, but finds out she's married, but he doesn't care. Mild hijinks ensue. It's not that interesting, although I guess it's watchable. I wouldn't watch it again.

enjoyable and cute to watch, but I found some of the songs near the end of the movie to be dull.
