This is my favorite move of all time. I am not saying that to sound like newb like, duhh it awesome but once the new blockbusters out I will like that more, no. This move had feeling, this move moved me and made me really think about my life and where I was going with it. This move had an effect on me. This movie gave me self respect and confidence to just say whatever and go on with my life.
It's because this movie had an effect that star wars, space Odyssey 2001, city lights, lord of the rings, and many more movies gave me that I love this film. And because It related to me at the perfect time, that is why it's my #1 fav movie of all time.........suck on that citizen cane!!!..... well really citizen cane is a great movie but I did not grow up on citizen cane.

Loved the movie, so glad that the alternate ending wasn't the real one. Like the books better, maybe cause I'm not a Michael Cera fan. still good tho.

Loved this movie so damn much I went out and bought the graphic novels the same day of seeing it, loved them too ^_^
Needless to say, I'm a shameless Scott Pilgrim fan, cmon admit it the whole series just screams awesome :P
and agreed that the Ramona ending is better, it would just feel wrong for Scott to end up with Knives.

I'm also a huge Scott Pilgrim fan. I've cosplayed as Scott Pilgrim for a total of seven days, though one day as a poorly done Negascott. I loved the movie, despite the fact that I nitpicked at it like crazy in terms of the differences between the movie and film (WHERE'S MY POWER OF UNDERSTANDING?!). Still, the movie did a great job fitting in a lot into one film, although it may have fared better if Edgar Wright did production AFTER the novels were released.
As for the Knives end, my problem was not how wrong the pairing was, even though it is wrong. My main issue is that there's essentially no resolution with Ramona, since she's SOL and still seems depressed. However, some of the scenes that led up to it should've been incorporated back in, such as Scott respawn point being walking in on Wallace.
By the way...Mecha Gideon would've been an awesome last boss for the film if they were able to pull it off. Also, anyone asides from me hoping for an animated Scott Pilgrim after watching Scott Pilgrim vs. The Animation?

Cut for time and because Wright didnt thing a monologue in the middle of a whole heap of action worked in the context of the moment, even though it was parodying the 'what ive learnt' monologues of old. Guess he just felt, and I kind of agree with him, is that it works for the book, but not for the movie. If you want to see it check out the commentaries and deleted scenes (with commentary track on) since they answer most of the questions youve asked here.

I would very much like this too, however the future of Scott Pilgrim was laying on his box-office returns...so if there is one eventually it wont be til we get the final figues in from DVD sales and what have you.
