There's loads of differences. One of the many misconceptions is that most of the male sleeves are the same.
Common fleshlights are just that, common. There are lines within the fleshlight series that are modeled after pornstars and a few that are designed to help with stamina and Pe [which is a bit redundant because all sleeves can do that]
The Onaholes are a bit of a different story since the scope of them is insanely massive. One of the more popular styles are the discreet ones, the majority of the Tenga line and a few USxJapan options [Poolball comes to mind] fall under that area.

As for the anime character onaholes. those are mostly comparable to US parody toys but actually usable without any real questionable judgement toward the material used [your porous vs non porous]. There's nothing really wrong with either its just that you gotta be careful with how you use them and clean them. When it comes down to it, what the texture is on the inside is what differs between onaholes. [along with some features like the virgin onaholes]

The Venus Clone and Meiki Maria Ozawa are both much lighter/softer than Fleshlights but harder to clean. The Tenga 3D is probably the quickest/most convenient for prep and cleanup, but it's barely any fun compared to the fun stuff. Just about every toy worth using is going to involve some amount of setup and cleaning, though.

If you use toys with any frequency, it helps to have a small area set aside for drying and supplies. Keeping lube and towels accessible and getting the toy and yourself wet before lubing up will cut the prep time. After you're done, having a dry towel near a fan will help get them dry. You can also be more efficient, for lack of a better term, if you cum a few times before cleaning as long as you're not leaving it out for a long time.

If you're having enough fun, it's just something you get used to over time. Not having family/roommates to worry about helps a bunch too.
