The Nirvana That Is Bacon

Bacon is the greatest thing i have ever eaten. i love it so much, i find it difficult to restrain myself from slapping servers in resturaunts when they ask if i want bacon or sausage with my eggs. everything should come with bacon by default, no matter what it is. fruit salad, bacon. ice cream, bacon. new shoes, bacon. i mean everything. if given the choice of a million dollars or a million strips of bacon, before they finish asking, i demand bacon.

does anyone else feel this way?

It's sad that bacon gets such a bad rap. It's not a primo protein, but it's not the worst thing you could eat either. One Twix bar has the saturated fat equivalent of 11 strips of bacon.

And while the economy has slipped, we've seen more bacon-infused foods because it's cheaper than some other meats, without necessarily degrading our food quality. (Although, watch out for the massive amounts of sodium >_>;)
