Aren't we due for a new version of "The Three Doctors" or something like in the old times where he needed the help of his past two generations? As much as this would fulfill my every wet dream, I'm pretty sure that Eccleston declined to ever do this show again.
why on earth would he do that? D:
Explaining to the Radio Times why he didn't last long, said: "I was open-minded but I decided after my experience on the first series that I didn't want to do any more. I didn't enjoy the environment and the culture that we, the cast and crew, had to work in.
"I thought if I stay in this job, I'm going to have to blind myself to certain things that I thought were wrong. And I think it's more important to be your own man than be successful, so I left."
"so I left. And crushed poor VotableDrWhat's heart."
Isn't Eccleston aware that the three doctors episode is basically a show tradition

Eccleston is just too awesome to give a rats ass about that. Which is a shame.

Eccleston is just too awesome to give a rats assSure, we can go with that.
Yeah, it just sounds a lot better than, "Eccleston just doesn't give a rats ass."

Considering I think he's the first actor to be that way.

It had to do with how much he hated the working environment, and RTD. But (doctor) WHO can blame him, amiright?

Absolutely! Hell, just to be a caterer and have my name on the credits would be a dream come true!

Why hello there, I'm the Doctor, no, not the moody one, or the one with the scarf, and definitely not the female one, either, although I've had my days when it sure feels like it. Just thought I'd pop in to let you know that this is all fine and dandy and that if any of you want to go for a TARDIS ride, I'd be all for that.
Oh, and I'm definitely not the one with the carrot fetish either. Bwah, that just creeps me out.

The direction this is going...
I want an assistant who has some intelligence.
Like Sarah Jane.

Reading that made me remember how disappointed I was that we didn't get to see any rooms in the TARDIS they were hinting at before season 5 began.
