What are you reading?

I want to buy these books...but I have a hard time reading something if I've already watched the tv series and know what's going to happen.

Is it different enough? Or does the TV series do a good job in staying true to the source material?

I've heard it stays pretty true to the novels. But I've yet to read them myself.

Also, currently reading: Sailing Alone Around the World by Captain Joshua Slocum.

The TV series is pretty damn close to the novels. Of course in that short of a span of time, it isn't possible to cover -everything-, and you will understand what's going on better if you've read the novels, but thus far they've done a very good job. If you have a hard time reading what you've seen, I'd say just start at the second book.

I just finished the 5th myself. And am rather peeved at the cliffhanger endings for multiple characters. +_+

Interesting Times, by Terry Pratchett. And just finished The Husband, by Dean Koontz. Both authors are grrrrreat!!

Right now I'm reading The Mystery of Ages. After that, I'll read The Purpose Driven Life.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John le Carré.

Failed States.

I've been reading the Nightwatch series. I finished Nightwatch and am halfway through Daywatch but I haven't gotten a chance to read it since I've gotten home from Ireland.
