Been reading some of Chuck Palahniuk's books recently. Read Choke a couple weeks back, and just finished Fight Club. Good stuff.

Up next is Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. My gf's dad gave it to me for christmas so I figure I'll give it a read. Slaughter House Five was great anyway...

Just finished The Appeal by John Grisham. Bought it when my flight got delayed and kept it in my bathroom until I finished it.

The Lake, authored by Yasunari Kawabata.

A masterpiece.

Also, The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection From The Living Dead, by Max Brooks. Great book, actually.

Well, I started reading The Historian about a month ago, and I haven't really read anymore since about a week and a half ago since I got me a nice christmas present, hehehe.

Raising Atlantis, by Thomas Greanias, just started to read and it seems interesting, am looking for the sequels The Atlantis Prophecy and Atlantis Revelation.

Anansy boys by Neil Gaiman, pretty decent so far. The truth is, I love that man. :roll:

re-reading Les Miserables by Victor Hugo for the third time, but this time it's the translated unabridged ver.

Just got Metamorphasis by Kafka from the library.

Their Eyes Were Watching God - Zora Neale Hurston

This may be one of the worst books Ive ever willingly chosen to read. The dialogue in the text is written in ebonics. I cant understand what anyones talking about! Other than that, the author (Hurston) is sexist against males. Im not even kidding...

I figure I should finish it though, since Ive heard that the ending makes up for having to put up with the author and the dialogue.

Right now it's "Dirty Weekend" by Helen Zahavi

The book isn't the best nor the worst I'veever read, but I wouldn't have picked it up by myself(Reading it now on order from my English teacher.) since I mostly read various fantasy novels.

Just finished The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.
Its good, but not the best, i like more Angels and Demons and Deception Point.

Sherlock Holmes series. Nothing intrigues me more than mysteries.

Right now it's "Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them" by Al Franken (who's now a Senator) and "We'll be Here for the Rest of Our Lives: A Swingin' Show-biz Saga" by Paul Shaffer. Both are pretty good but I'm getting lazy at reading them.
