What is your favorite Mech

Mecha? It's gotta be ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam. Why? Reasons being:
1. Kira is the pilot - he's got the looks, the girl, and most of all, the skills to ownz people. He's the god of pilots.
2. The Strike Freedom Gundam has capabilites well beyond most other suits. It has it's own nuclear powered drive, the DRAGOON system, multiple cannons, beam rifles that can combine into a more powerful weapon, gold joints, and overall the gundam looks kickass.
3. Kira + Strike Freedom Gundam = pownz.

Surprisingly my favorite mech was not found in any anime yet... but currenlt i prefer those in mech warriors games (i know is old) or maybe even the one in Metal Gear Solid series too those metal gears are hot ...oh yeah :twisted:

I would have to second the reasons on the strike freedom. But my personal favorite would have to be the FAZZ-010 Full Armor Double Zeta. I know It's old school but you got to admit it would probaly put up a good fight aginst most of the After Colony, and Cosmic Era suits with the right pilot (Kira).

The Gawain can fly, sports Hadron cannons, and has bladed fingers.
The Arbalest, on the other hand, can simply have it's pilot think on the proper waveform, and then blow shit up.

From Macross plus, Valkyrie YF-19, I love the multi-variable capability that allows great combat in both air and space, not to mention that it does obeys more to the physics laws than most mechs around, since for faster speed it needs to be in the jet mode, humanoids aren't aerodynamic.

Yep the ARX-7 Arbalist with the lambda driver is alot of fun. But devils advocate the Chodar i (venom) with Gates psychotic as piloting is equally bad ass. That and he was better at blowing shit up with it

Ah yes... I completely forgot about the ARX-7 Arbalest. It's got the looks and mobility that make it a kick ass weapon, especially with the lambda drive. However, in the Full Metal Panic! universe, there is one more suit more powerful than the Arbalest (besides the hulking pink colosuss which has crazy weakpoints), and that's the suit that Leonard Testarossa pilots himself. I won't go into the details since this is purely from the the FMP! translated novels (which stopped at Continuing On My Own) but it is suffice to say that the AS Leonard pilots can own even the Arbalest without it putting up a fight.

And don't get me started on the gold coating (Yata no Kagami), that will reflect any beam attacks. Strike Freedoms Dragoon beams will never touch the Akatsuki.

That's a toss up. I really like Death Scythe Hell (non movie variant), Eve (from applegeeks sure I know she is a robot but she is a fun robot, cute too.) a veritech fighter(those things are awesome) Landmates, even though they border on the powered armor grade vehicle, or Rahxephon. I like Eve the most but she isn't really a mech. I do like to think of her as a Mechamerican though.

Hmmm hard to say but hey, I am an NGE fan and i like the Eva units especially the Unit 1.Not gonna explain the detail of the other units but here's why i like Eva Unit 1:
1.The AT-Field which can block almost any attacks.
2.Arsenals from melee to long range.I like the Positron Rifle thou requires sooo much power.
3.The Berserker Mode which simply gives Unit 1 it's own life or is awaken.
4.It has its ultimate move.Depending if the Pilot wishes to change the world or let it stay thesame.

mmmm Akatsuki gold coating is very cool. Just built a model of that suit. When i get back to the house i'll get a pic of all 30 plus models i have built. I do most of my posting on an LG Voyager Phone. Am i truck driver
