Rahxephon. Becaues it's from my fav show, it's piloted by Ayato who is an alternate of Shinji and Ayato doesn't whine, Ayato has a girl who is Mishima who is hawt and Rahxephon is probably the most over powered mech out there. XD

My fav mech is "Genocide" my personal AC4 mech. Built for speed and destructive capability. Armed with dual machineguns, disposablr grenade launcher, and a missle launcher that fires 24 missiles simultaniously. However, in anime Deathscythe Custom from Endless Waltz.....I dig the scythe.

ARX-7 Arbalest from Full Metal Panic, and the Epyon.

Then I would have to say the Gawain

RahXephon is a definite for me. The pilot can wipe out everyone on the planet, choose whether humans or Mu rule the planet, and become the observer/moderator of time itself. Sounds like win to me.

Wing Zero Custom(Gundam Wing)-it makes the Freedom look like crap

Heavy Arms Custom(Gundam Wing)- nothing like a barrage of bullets to kill your opponents

Nirvash Type Zero(Eureka Seven)- it slick, its destructive and it can do a 360 on a board

Lancelot(Code Geass)- hate the pilot, not the mech

Gurren(Code Geass)- you wouldnt want to get caught by the hand of doom

Arbalest(Full Metal Panic)- an unpredictable system nonetheless it kicks ass

Do you mean the YF-19 which was later the VF-19, instead of YF-1A which was actually a relatively low performance veritech?

I would also like to point out that AT fields only work on normal weapons, and only a handful of mechs actually use normal weapons, and those are almost all in systems/universes where the mechs are VERY low performance, you can barely get them to run let alone perform maneuvers.

Er...but Ideon IS a Super Robot.Even though Tomino directed it, it is still a Super Robot no matter how you look at it. I mean, cutting a planet in half with Ideon Sword? I don't think that sounds very RR to me. Besides, it's capable of universal destruction. That instantly places it in the SR category as far as I can tell.

To be honest I love all mechas but those came out a bit more on top than the others.

My favorite is Wanzer from the Front Mission series. It more machine, its appearance looks more cooler to me and I prefer modern gun than laser-beam or light-saber. I know it can't fly like Gundam but I always fond of wanzer even it doesn't have any high-tech weapon system like Gundam has or the AC(Armor Core).

A Temjin? I respect your tastes in mecha my fine sir. I personally prefer the 707 and the a8 Temjins as well as Fei-yen Kn.

As for absolute favorite ... I'd have to say the Omega Id/Weltall Id. Beating the shit out of its enemies with unarmed martial arts since 1998.
