Well I know Japanese fluently thanks to being born and raised in Japan. I love this language so much, I mostly speak in Japanese with my brother and Spanish with the rest of the family since I'm Mexican. I just translated my own paragraph above in Japanese. I wonder how many people here could have read it and translated without the English paragraph...
If I could read kanji then I could have read it all... But I only really ever got around to memorizing hiragana and half of katakana. Kanji is off-limits for me at the moment, hehehe.

The classic GCSE in German, and I made it my business to forget French. I have a whole lot of learning materials for Japanese too, but I've yet to find the time to learn any significant amount. >.<

i speak.. indonesian (i'm a native), sundanese, javanese,and ambonese, english, some swearing hokkien word, i can understand and speak japanese a little bit but i cannot write it (Hiragana / Katakana / Kanji... is a big no no for me) and some mumbling in spanish, dutsch and a little spanish and a little bit of portuguese too ...
well, i'm kinda like to learn a lot of language but i hate to study language, so i usually self taught all the language mah self :D

English is my native language, and I was pretty fluent in Spanish, but I haven't spoken Spanish in so long I don't think I could consider myself fluent in it anymore.

Hey, you never know when all those languages might come in handy...
Just by knowing all that, if you applied for a job (at least here in America), it would boost your appeal to the employers by... well, a lot.
