You could always alleviate your boredom by doing something productive.

There's no rule against necroing threads as long as you're giving a productive answer, but common sense dictates that you don't necro long-dead threads asking for Human Relationships advice because situations like that can change over time and the advice you'd be giving would be useless.

I understand. My last paragraph is basically a joke on that issue. People say, «you criticize this but you do it yourself, you hypocrite». Well, the answer to that is that one *has* to do it in order to stop it so I get your point. But having been a forum newbie who wanted to get in on the action on a slow day, I have raised topics from the dead, maybe not here, although I'm not sure. They eventually tire themselves out and realize it is pointless to write anything in threads where the people involved will not reply.

I just thought it was a bit excessive considering all you need to do is read the date on the first post. You don't even have to read whatever he wrote. I certainly didn't.

News flash: OP actually responded pretty fucking recently. Feb 4, to be exact. Cactus Bloom gave his congrats to the OP on Feb 16. 12 days does not a necrobump make, and he technically was on topic because he didn't offer any late or redudndant advice.

The thread was bumped, I noticed he gave an update and commented upon it. Yes there is an OT(I acknowledge both the OT and the update), even if you insist there isn't. Even if you insist I didn't add anything because there was nothing to add, the time frame between a simple bump and necro is never clearly defined and is up to the discretion of the moderation staff. I'll wager that the gap between my first post, and the last relevant post(Feb 4, 2014) isn't a necrobump.
