What should i do?

By saying I don't care I mean I have stopped writing posts with caution to avoid offense. I have written 100% neutral posts in discussions I claimed to have no opinion in and I got negative votes. It doesn't mean I will stop listening. The comeback I have is when I think I am right. I follow the Socratic method (All I know is that I know nothing) so I am welcome to having people telling me I'm an idiot. I want that and I want them to teach me WHY. Not a lot of people here seem willing/capable (yep, I went there...) to do it. Instead, they go with negative votes for whatever reason. I also think responding to a critique is a sign of respect towards that person which is why I'm responding now. If you write something completely stupid and get no response, it is because people don't care enough to make you see it. People here, don't. I still do, I just stopped being careful about it.

And yes, I do want to be right. Who doesn't want to be right? Who wants to think and write wrong information? But I do recognize when I'm wrong which I did when someone pointed out the new bump and I didn't read the post I criticized. I admited I was wrong on that... Show me what else I'm wrong about and if I have no response, I'll admit it.

I feel I have responded to your last point in the first paragraph, I'll just add this: your post is articulate and argumentative. You show reasons as to why you think P (P being the proposition «nateriver10 is a cunt»). So, I give you reasons as to why I think your reasons don't add up to P. This is Rhetoric, something I love to do. Maybe I take the game too seriously but well, tough break. People can insult me all they want. It doesn't make anything I say wrong. It's comments like yours that do.

I've seen the things you post and a majority of the time you come off as a pretentious cock, even before you stopped writing from what you call a NPOV. And the response lengths, fuck me, you might as well be writing a Bible of random thoughts that pop into your head as you type.

As per the above point, you're defensive when called an idiot and expect people to give a reason why they dislike you, but they most often choose not to give you one and you take it as some kind of a win. That kind of behaviour is typical of an individual with low self-esteem in reality, and it seems your way of dealing with it is to make yourself feel better by putting others down or "winning" arguements.

Well I'm going to tell you it straight: not everybody is going to have/need a reason to dislike you if your outward attitude is a negative one, simply because people are going to look at your posts and think you're a dick. To expect everyone to have a rational explanation and derail a thread specifically to state why they dislike you is fucking childish. So this little rebellion you're having where you "don't care if you offend someone by posting" is just you throwing your toys out the pram because people aren't behaving the way you want them to.




Negreps are the people's way of saying "You're being a cunt" or "I disagree" without going into a thread-derailing discussion with you about it. And with your track record of having your head shoved up your rectum, sucking your shit dry and spewing it all over the forum boards, I don't blame them.
