I'm pretty far left-winged. About the only thing I take a moderate or slightly conservative view towards is immigration in the United States.
I hate the conservative natures in the United States and I seek to get them all changed. Hell, some even call me a Communist just because I support the Communist ideology even though I know it will never work.

I'm all over the "left-right" scale. The best way to explain it is Libertarian which in itself stretches the entire spectrum
To make it simple I just tell people when it comes to government or the economy I am conservative (low taxes, small central government, Federalist/Miniarchist. Then socially I'm pretty liberal but, not quite "out there" like some who want to give equivalent rights to animals and plants (I'm sorry but, that cow, chicken or potato doesn't have a right to live. I need to eat!)
list of Libertarian "Schools of thought"

Made me think of another one. Environmentalism. I'm all for going green and stuff, but I'm not at the point yet where I feel like drastically changing my day-to-day activities just to satisfy the condition of saving a tree here or there. I'll wait till the whole project is more cost effective before I put my own personal life on the line for some tree hugging. *shrugs*

Well, guess I can drop it now too. Since I already said it somewhere else.
I'm an anarchist communist. Real heavy on the pacifism too. (This may shock some people.)
Hmm why did I choose it? After giving the whole thing some thought, I felt this represents my ideals the best.

I may have been raised by conservative semi far right winged fuck faces but honestly i opt to stay in the middle where i know change is needed and somethings should honestly just stay the same.

Yeah, here in the states "Libertarian" by itself is associate with laissez faire capitalism. Hell, It'd be easier to link the parties platform link.
I look favorably on Anarchism but, I can't quite bring myself 100% as I see government as a necessary evil to maintain a social order. Though I love flirting with that line as much as possible. I also can't go too far to the left because I enjoy the idea of private property and see it as a basic human right because the first thing a person owns is themselves and from owning yourself you own the fruits of your labor. My brain isn't wired to see abolition of private property as a good thing. Another reason is the power gap between the Government and myself. If the government is more powerful than I am then it can easily crush me (thus instilling fear). By the words of Thomas Jefferson
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
But Hey, if Anarcho-Communism suits a group of people and that system works best for them. Have at it.
Random Fact: Noam Chomsky is a Libertarian Socialist. Yeah, I was surprised too.

I thought that was common knowledge? Only thing by him I've read was "Interventions", though.

Maybe I was just late on that one. I hope not since I was rather amazed when I first discovered it way back when.

It's not that I condemn private property completely, but I think the arguments against it that are raised by anti-authoritarian leftists are pretty convincing (though they are mainly derived from the Marxist school of thought, mixed with anarchist ideas).
In theory, private property may sound neat, but so does communism. I think a third way would be best; people should be free to choose which "economic system" they want to implement. I mean, forcing people to do either would be pretty hypocritical from an anarchist point of view. So I guess what I'd propose would be a coexistence of both, because I believe that would provide people with maximum economic freedom - I believe people will choose what is best for them if given the choice.
Guess that basically makes me a Pananarchist with communist leanings.

centrist leaning left i suppose. idk. without really going into any depth i would say im socially liberal but economically conservative/centrist.
i really dont pay much attention to politics anymore aside from watching the daily show. it just makes me so mad seeing all those idiots destroy our country and the world for that matter. all of them, democrats and republicans. i dont point fingers at one side like most people do, i blame all of them. i dont cosider myself part of either party, and i almost never vote for any of them. im an independant and i really only vote on propositions and tsuff like that. i never consider any option truly preferable when it comes to politician elections. and i think the "vote for the lesser evil" idea is completely flawed. id rather vote for neither evil.

FPoD already said everything I could.
Libertarian on a federal level. Constitutionalist leanings there. I think the only projects the feds should take up are international diplomacy, interstate crime , and maintaining what's left of the bill of rights (along with most of the newer amendments). The IRS should consist of "How much did you make this year?" followed by "You will pay this. Sign here."
On a State level, I'm a centrist. Personal matters are fairly liberal (by definition, not by pundit rambling*). Commerce, labour, the environment, drugs, property (to an extent), education, and criminal punishment should be regulated. Personal habits (smoking inside), personal safety (wearing helmets whilst skateboarding), prostitution, firearms, protest, etc. should not.
I'm of the opinion that they should do away with either counties or cities, they overlap too much--and city laws don't apply to "unincorporated" areas.
e.g. The city I live in, Tacoma. It legally extends to 81st st. It SHOULD go to 224th. The citizens recognize it, why does the government not?
(Legal answer: Tax breaks. Living on 83rd costs about 3/4ths as much as living on 80th)
Counties/Cities should deal with property, zoning, utilities, enforcement, emergency response, civil matters, and whatever is not covered in the other lists. SHOULD NOT deal with education, transportation (outside of public), pollution, and should stop lining their pockets with gentrification policy.
I leave unemployment benefits to either state or city, medical policy to state, abortion to the individual, and child abuse to the state (within REASON. I want checks and balances, with skilled, prompt workers.)
The reason why I would keep things so divided is to allow people greater freedom. If they don't want to deal with (cocaine, prostitutes, noise pollution, abortion clinics, whatever), they can vote with their feet.
*Liberal: One who treasures liberty, and strives for it in all facets of government.
