I'm from West PA and most people here say "pop" But i lived my early years in Philli and Maine and they mostly say soda.

At Spain it's commonly called "Coke" since Spanish coke name "Coca-Cola"... But I also heard soda, but Coke gets more used

It's always been soda. Although if you didn't want someone to come back with a nasty-ass Pepsi or Coke Zero or something, you'd have to be more specific. At least, that's how it works in Texas.

It's true name is "soft-drink", but it always change by region. From where I am (Puerto Rico) is soda or "refresco" meaning "refresher".
