In the UK it was 18 but now its gone up to 21 i think... or 25 maybe =/No its still 18 its just they can ask you for ID if they think you look under 21/25 in some places its to do with the "Challenge 21" scheme that they are running to try and stop underage drinking and to get it into retailers heads that the smoking age has been increased to 18 from 16.
Not that age restrictions will stop kids from doing what they want either way. I was getting served in bars at 16. >>
