It's 21 in America, but no one gives a crap about that, I've seen kids as young as 14 geting drunk out of there minds without anyone so much as batting an eye.

The drinking age in the US is 21, last time I checked. I find it interesting that, where I live, when you turn 18 you can legally own a shotgun, but you have to wait until you're old enough to drink to own a handgun, legally.

and also: Here it's the other way around, when we were kids everyone was drinking vodka because its cheap and hard-liquor.
EDIT: Forgot the topic on hand, the legal drinking-age is 18. (The ironical thing is that to buy alcohol from outside restaurants or pubs you have to be at least 20.)
