I'm typically a mechanical pencil kind of guy, but now that I'm done with school and homework forever, I think I'm a ballpoint pen person. What about you?

In school I use a mechanical pencil, but at home I use a fountain pen. I voted fountain pen because I like that the best.

Not going to lie but when ever i had art class and history (my history class was in art room) I would always sneak finger paint in my pencil case and use it to write with to screw with my teacher XD (this is a 100% true story)

I use a mech pencil. I usually use them for drawing since they have a finer tip than regular pencils, so when I have to write, I just use one of my mech pencils I have lying around.

Mechanical pencil, because it's easy to go from writing something to drawing something and it never needs to be sharpened.

i haven't actually 'written' in forever, but i'm particular to the mechanical pencil myself. always stays the right length, never needs to be sharpened and you can still erase mistakes contrary to any form of pen or crayon.
don't draw so i can't comment on how effective they are for art

I use my trusty mechanical pencil for both drawing and writing.
It's a drag to have to switch to another thing, though I am trying to make good use of my new finer pens.

mechanical pencil ftw, i cant even use regular pencils anymore, sharpening it every time it breaks is a pain

Regular pencil mostly for the feel and you can do some good effects with it too. depends on how you sharpen or dull your lead.

Honestly, I HATE writing by hand: typing is the only way to go. But, if I have to, I go mechanical. Also, fuck chalk.

Used to be pencil, but then I realized that all of my ideas are gold and began writing in ballpoint. Erase THIS future self!
