Ok... so I've read a lot of posts and this is what I concluded:
Most people chose for pc over console, but when I read the posts most say something like:
I chose pc, because I dont have a console.
Well... thats a pretty cheap argument [stated by pretty cheap people I guess :P]
And some that do have a console say that they grew up with a pc.
Again... not a very strong argument I believe..
But the ones that chose for console really have good arguments [I chose for console too, as I said in an earier post].
So I concluded that the most people chose for pc, simply because they don't know the 'awesomeness' of consoles.
So even if the majority says that pc is better... it isn't.. because consoles are far greater.:P
I chose pc and I can state a argument thats better then at least 60% of the reasons so far. I grew up with both pc and consoles(gameboy color, gba, ps1,ps2,ps3,psp,wii(2 of them),xbox(original), and had friends who had sega n64 and all the other older stuff, and I've had like 6/7 computers(I keep frying the parts). before i go into my argument i gotta say this one thing, console and pc are the exact same thing, do not bother arguing over this, they are the exact same thing. But here are the things that are good about pc/console.
Both pc(not a laptop) and consoles have there pros and cons, I'm gonna start off with the pc, it has so much more versatility than a console its not even funny, you can multi-task(example: listen to music, while fapping to porn, and playing WoW at the same time) on a pc were you can't on a console(and if you can its very very limited), pc just look so much better then console( if you got time&money for lights for your case), its easier to hide your porn, its easier to talk to friends, ventrilo/teamspeak/skype is so much better then the shitty mic systems on consoles, hacking on a pc is much easier then a console(never tried any hacking on consoles beyond my psp), games run on high-end computers aren't as choppy as on a ps3, pc usually have dedicated servers for games were as console usually doesn't, "majority" of the consoles games can be emulated on a pc, desktops are more customizable, and thats it for pc.
For consoles, its so much easier to port around then a pc, for all around gaming it is much better, driving games are much easier on console then a pc imo as controls are much smoother for turning and shit like that, after hardcore gaming non-stop your wrists are not as sore, newer consoles usually have badass 3d type desktops, maintenance on a console is so much easier then a pc, you don't have to fiddle with graphics settings if there is any lag. TVs are usually bigger then monitors, unless you use a projector, its easier to troll people on consoles(they are usually ignorant and/or arrogant), controllers are wireless therefore less tangled cords to clean up, it makes a good cupholder XD, and imo its much funner to play on a console with friends over then a pc(mainly cause i don't like people on my pc), and thats it for the console.
all in all, i choose pc because of its versatility. and i have spent countless days/hours on both console and pc, in the end its like men and women, they are different but they are both animals.
