Which do you prefer?

Consoles. With xbox live, more fun.

Console for sure.

I prefer the controller to the keyboard and mouse, and I like being able to lounge on the couch instead of sitting 18 inches away from the screen.

PC controls are infinitely better than consoles. PC is the only answer to this question. Any one who disagrees will be labeled as a heretic and disposed of in the name of the emperor.

PC gaming for me. Im currently playing RE5. The Mercenaries is addictive as hell!

i like rpg games in console, but its better play fps in the pc.

PC because watching porn on consoles is garbage and with pc, you can download ANYTHING your heart desires...as for games, there's an endless list but i'll just name a few: -counterstrike
-team fortress 2
-battlefield 2
-starcraft/warcraft 3
-left 4 dead
-half life series
-countless free games (gunbound, gunz, maplestory)
-mmos (WoW, guildwars, city of heroes)
-sexy beach 3 and schoolmate :3

Not to mention a pc can be the ultimate tool for work, communication such as on forums/facebook, gaming, porn, etc. consoles can barely compare.

Anyone want to start a war of why console > pc? I'll happily discuss >:D

PC elitist huh? Just because one likes consoles over PC makes one a "heretic"? I must have missed the part about PC being the ultimate religion.

If you have a decent enough computer and a USB controller, PC is pretty much a console.

I personally prefer the rpg and other story based games, which are rarely on the PC (legally, that is). I realize the PC is very versatile, and I cannot do paperwork/taxes/fax on a console, but I don't enjoy those thing anyways, and I assume the poll's criteria is game/fun based. So for now I vote console, and always will, until Wild Arms is on the PC.

Well it really just depends on what kind of games im into at the time. i have been playing alot of 1st person shooters, main MW2 =3, and i prefer to play them on console - hence my vote.

but if i decide, "na, i want to play mmo's", then pc is they way for me =P

I'd have to go with a pc because there is so much versatility in a pc it doesn't really compare with the consoles. With a pc you can fully customize it to your liking from choosing its graphics cards straight to its processor. With a console you are limited to its original build and must start from there. Each type has its ups and downs but for now its pc for me.

The PC for the fact that you could mod Oblivion, the greatest game ever made.

Its PC for me, well i admit that consoles are great fun but i dont have any of them (and wont have in near future) so PC all the way xD
About games.. i've been playing source mods lately, Melty Blood Actress Again (using PSX emule xD) and WarCraft3 via garena

I mainly play games on console though i do have a nice gaming PC. As to type RPGs action, adventure, platformers and on pc MMO's. Only type i generally don't play is shooters FPS games especially. Though there are exceptions such as Metroid prime and resistance.

I stopped playing/buying consoles at Nintendo 64. Super Smash Bros, obviously was a fav of mine.

PC is the greatest, so fuck all your X-Box, Wii, PlayStations, etc. I'd sooner burn a console than play it.

Diablo series is my all time favorite. I've played Diablo 2 off-and-on for maybe a decade. Sims 1 and no further (got boring and expensive). Warlords Battle Cry, Heroes of Might and Magic. and some others.
