Lets see listening to horrible annoying voices (dubbed) Or simply the original with actual emotion put into faster way (subbed).. hmmm its no competition, My vote goes on "Subbed".

When it comes down to it, subbed is great especially when it comes down to japanese puns and what not but it's not good if it's raw (not a good excuse i know). Dubbed can be raw since you (usually) would know it but it's for lazy readers as well. Though for me i find it fun to acknowledge similar voice actors from previous animes and see them as a new character (this applies for subs too but only if you're a careful listener and/or huge fan.)

Meh, I'll take what i can get. Any anime is better than no anime at all be it dubbed or subbed. But yes some are better than others and sometimes on licensed anime you get" dub-titles". Dubbed Bible Black is hilarious.

trigun, cowboy bebop, eureka 7,and rurouni kenshin are the only one i would watch dubbed
I don't see the problem with subs in action scenes, am I the only one who can read and watch it at the same time?

im sry but who in the fuck can watch a dubed anime. and like it over a subed anime i mean good god take a look at naruto uncut and cut. its complete bull shit. the only anime i can stand in dub and enjoy is hell sing. and thats only for 1 reason its set in enland with English writing and words .
now 1 anime that really took a piss on was beck. the subverion had mostly jap in it then there were some parts that were in english. that sounded great. then they went to dub it. made it all english and made every one sound like a fag.

In most cases, I prefer subbed anime over dubbed anime. There are a few that I prefer dubbed though, such as:
Rurouni Kenshin (Media Blasters dub)
Cowboy Bebop
there may be a few others, but I can't remember them atm....

I preffer subbed over dubbed. In my opinion most of times voices in dubbed versions are baddly choosen but there are exeptions f.ex. I liked french dub in Dragon Ball :)

sub. . . hearing the're original voice sounds better. . . and also, you can learn to understand Japanese while you're watching sub. . . .

dub is great the only thing I miss when I don't watch an anime subbed is asian female voices usually for younger rolls there just so high and so cute but other than that dub wins for me. but I watch whatever I can get my hands on.
on a side note hell no to dubbed hentai that stuff sucks. oh.....(35 seconds later) oh. horrible just horrible

As a general rule, I go with the subs, definitely, but there are times where dubbed anime isn't bad at all. Por exemplo, the Haruhi anime wasn't bad at all, and was actually more fun for me to listen to in English. Also, I haven't seen Lucky Star dubbed in its entirety yet but I've seen snippets and they seemed ok. I'm naturally pretty good at reading subtitles while simultaneously watching the action on the screen, though, so subs are still my default favorite.

Dubbed, if it's well done. Cowboy Beebop and Rurouni Kenshin are a few of my favorite dubs. It's more about the quality of the voice actors and Seiyuu's than anything else. My main problem is that I often hear the same Seiyuu's used in many animes, and I can't discern one character from another. With English voice acting; if I'm watching Bleach, I *know* when Kenpachi is speaking, because his voice is so different from everyone else's. That being said, I speak Japanese; and I still think many of the Seiyuu's sound alike... :(
