Who will/did you vote for and why?
personaly, i hate the two party system and how it's so easily abused. republicans are beligerant and unwilling to compromise, and democrats are too willing to submit.
the only people with the power to fix it, are the ones who benefit from it's current broken state. what elected official is going to support legislation that could limit his power and benefits?
furthermore, for every one person who resaerches and makes an informed decision, there are a hundred who just do what their prefered party tells them to or blindly believes which ever ads they see.
that's why this election day(like many before), i'm staying home and getting drunk.
[edit]: if not a US citizen, and you know about any of the candidates, who would you vote for, and why?

I'm not a US citizen, but remember that [size=14]if you don't vote, you have no right to complain about the outcome.[/h]

If I'm mistaken tell me other wise, but I think it may be to late for me to register now. Only time I felt like voting is when Obama was dealing with New York/New Jersey. The last 2 people I ever expected to see working together and Chris Cristy and Obama. Inspired me to put faith in the idea that they can come together for the common good.
With exception to what I've previously stated above, I don't view much of a difference between the two other than the controller and the intelligence between the 2. Though It still makes Obama sound like the better option, I sorta want to see Romney spark a repeat of the french revolution. Either way I can't see Obama losing in a fair (as if this system is fair) race.
After being in California through all the bull shit the politicians have been pulling here, I really have a pessimistic view of anything changing for the better, like OP said, "only one who can change it are the ones who benefit from it".
Reason why I don't bother with third parties (near end),

That's not what I was talking about, what I meant was that if someone who have the power to vote (eg. all US citizens) chooses not to use it at all they really can't say anything about the outcome, because they brought shit upon themselves.

As a non-US citizen, I believe it's inappropriate to say anything good or bad about Romney or Obama without knowing what they have done to the US and whether we should vote for them or not and defend our statements with justifiable reasons, just because we are not living in the US and neither are we eligible to vote for one of them.
TL;DR We don't know both of them thoroughly (since we aren't US citizens), so we can't give a proper opinion and a decision on who to vote.

I'm voting for Zekromney. Since I'm not in Ohio, it won't matter what my vote is anyway. Might as well pick the better pun. I also feel bad for the guy, since he has a sillier name than Obama.
