makes me wanna cry, Spain 0 - 1 Switzerland
every single ball that came from the flank was a cross, the swiss defenders just stood there and blocked the shit out of every attack.

The bookmakers must be laughing all the way to the bank since very few people placed their money on Switzerland.
I believe it is the curse of the Euro. Countries who have won the previous European Championship prior to the subsequent World Cup will not do well in the latter. France, Greece and now Spain, are some of these countries, though it could be a coincidence. :D

Got Megane?
Just for the record, anyone know how often a goalie gets a red card?
It's 0-3 now, and that's all she wrote.

"Invincible Galleon" Spain lost. Good old Pele is working his curse-magic again. He predicted that Spain would win this World Cup or something like that.
I didn't see the South Africa vs Honduras. How DID the goalie of South Africa get red card? I also saw that the goalie was replaced according to FIFA game summary page. I didn't know that goalie could be substituted after getting a red card.

1) Ball played through to opposition player in the box, the goalkeeper splayed himself to stop a certain goal and clipped the foot of the player going around him. He was the last man, denied a scoring opportunity and made definite contact, so a good decision.
2) Why else would they have a goalkeeper on the bench for every match? As long as they have a substitution left, they can take another player from the field of play and bring on a goalkeeper, otherwise an outfield player has to go in goal.
