20 years or suicide?
Which option would you choose?

I would pick Room A. Just think, 20 years of access to any kind of exercise machine available, the time to constantly train, access to a constant supply of high protein food, and unlimited access to books on any subject. id come out in 20 years a highly intelligent, extremely well built person. Not to mention the insane amount of time enough to become more than proficient in a number of martial arts.

true but martial arts are extremely hard to learn solo. you would need a sensei in the room with you.

And that is where the clone comes in. :)

this sorta reminds me of Old Boy and The Matrix at the same time.Hahahaha, that's what I was thinking.
OT: I'd go with A. I don't think I could kill myself and that 20 year deal isn't half bad.

I would pick room A because what many people said already.
Time to train, and learn.
Time to clear my mind.
Time to play things i previously couldn't.
And well the clone he he a free girl of whoever I want awesome.

I'm gonna have to go with room B. True, room A gives you plenty to keep you 'happy' for 20 years, but there is not one person in here that wouldn't come out of that batshit insane, not to mention your family and friends thought you were dead for 20 years, your wife (if you had one) probably moved on and has been porking your best friend, your kids (again, if you had any) don't remember you, and the world is completely different. Having a mute retarded clone would not provide much satisfaction, for me at least, because it's basically a fancy sex doll: there's no love, emotion, or true passion involved if you have sex with it.
Then again, I guess if you believed in an afterlife of some kind and suicide guaranteed your spot in hell for eternity then room A would be preferable.
I've seen Old Boy referenced a couple times, and quite frankly that's a decent example.
tl;dr Room A would make you absolutely insane, not worth it.

Fuck em.
Why:
A: im not going to shoot myself
B: Im not going to locked away for 20 years
I'll wait the two hours, and if anyone tries to get me into any room, I'll kill them. They might kill me, but if im dying, im going to go out in a blaze of glory, 300 style.

The question is being whether they can kill you with the flip of a switch or a push of a button instead of sending in someone or something to kill you.

Ahhhhh, bursting one's bubble. So delicious.
I'll take 20 years please. Humans can only be a hermit for so long, but as long as it has perks and a time limit, I'll take it.

I would rather live in a room(a huge one) for 20 years with all the items i want rather than get killed. I'd build myself knowing that i will be released in 20 years. I'd keep a clock and calendar to know what time it is. I will do a routine workout. Use the clone to release sexual tension. Order the clone to be on the same level as i am in fighting today and workout till i can defeat the clone and slowly improve myself in martial arts. Since i can order whatever i want, i will eat food that i always wanted to eat and look up foods in a book. I will decorate the room once every so often. I will play games and read books. Imagine all the books that i can read. Since it said no communication, watching a newspaper isn't exactly communication with outside world. I will be informed of everything that is going on.
Hell, this isn't so bad. If I get released after 20 years, i will visit the university for a job as professor and slowly get used to the new life.

I'll take the 20 years. The opportunity to bang all the anime/game girls that I fap to nightly is reason enough to risk the insanity. Even though it can't reply, I can tell her to act affectionate/aroused, which would be enough. Probably.
I'd definitely be through the door and demanding my first clone before he was done speaking :D.

Learning to become a hacker and being present in a location where no one can reach you sounds quite nice...
Also, do note that they never specify what's in the room or how big it is. Perhaps that's user-defined as well.

20 years. To be honest, my life is pretty much like that right now. If not for the fact that we require money to survive in this world, I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up living my whole life this way. The only daunting fact is that there isn't an access to a computer/internet so that I can watch anime D:
On a side note, yeah, this is a real mindfuck. D:
Oh yes, assuming that the clone are females/males and that we'll probably be making love to it everyday. Chances are, we'll get AIDS by the well, I duno, 10th clone? That just shortened 20 years of slightly-painful torture to 1-2 years of seriously-painful torture. So how is that not a way of killing yourself o.o

Room A
A clone of anyone???
LOLI RAEP TIME
But i wish they can provide newspapers and limited internet
(can download data (watch news and gamescon) , but cannot upload data [communicate via email, youtube comments etc])
I strongly believe that I can outlive 20 years in solidarity.

Room A all the way, it's like what you have always wanted but the part where you can't talk to people. The clone is good, getting to have sex with all the anime characters you want, who would not wan't that :) Plus everything you could ever want handed right to you thats another dream come true :D I could live without talking to people for 20 years.

I would wonder if the creators of this were playing a trick, where the room B is solitary confinement and room A leads to freedom. Or vice versa.

Room A dudes.
I mean c'mon, it's like being thrown into jail but with extra benefits, except that you don't get to interract with people but again you got a clone with you that answers to any of your questions.
At first You'll find the clone to be boring and lifeless but without a doubt you'll find yourself growing an affection for it over the years, and you'll eventually fall in love with it. So as long as that person, thing or clone you got in love with is near you, you are sure 100% that you'll survive through those 20 years in a perfect state. Now the real problem is, will you be able to survive right after the 20 years? Let's suppose that the clone cannot leave the room, will you be able to resume real life without it/her/him?
This, I seriously doubt it.

20 years with a Misaka Imouto? Room A definitely sounds better than Room B. Plus I guess I could somehow find a loophole around that whole clone not talking thing, and everything else sounds fine. Except for the whole no one knows you after 20 years, but hey, when you comeback, everyone I know will probably be still alive (for the most part). They would probably say something like "OH SHIT! He's back!" and stuff, which would be awesome. Plus, it would be cool to see how the world changed in 20 years, so Room A choice definitely eclipses Room B choice by far for me.
Oh, and I hope I could keep my Misaka Imouto clone, that would be awesome~
