Gays vs Lesbians

Which is acceptable?

Personally as a guy, I have always been turned off by gays/gay porn/yaoi. While I am not discriminating them, I just find that they are not my cup of tea. However, I don't have the same views on lesbians (perhaps due to being a guy).

I believe the society mainly condemns gays more than lesbians as well. Like how everyone would go 'EW' if they see 2 guys hugging/kissing, but not for the females. So I'd like to have your views on this issue mainly.

If possible, tell us your gender too, together with your choice. I want to see if females would condemn lesbians, just like guys (generally) would condemn gays.

I'm very open minded about same-sex relations. I'm male just for the record.

Though i accept gay couples, i'll never ever venture into gay porn. Not that i'm disgusted but it's not my cup of coffee. In fact i have a few friends who are gay, i'm absolutely fine with hanging out with them. Being gay never means that they are different people.

I can't help but agree with the above posts. Homosexuals, be them gays or lesbians, are perfectly fine with me. I have a few gay/lesbian friends and they are awesome. But it's not my cup of tea/coffee/chocolate or w/e. This goes for both lesbian and gay porn for me.

And I'm also male for the record.
Also, slightly going of topic, I'm happy to hear that the church here will now bless gay marriage, this was enforced just last week. ^^

Let people do as they wish providing it consensual and nobody gets hurt. I'm a man and I could never bring myself to do the man-o-man kind of action, but someone should wish to do so, so be it (just not in my lounge =) ).

I cant stand gays. Its not that I hate them or anything. I simply feel... uncomfortable. Lesbians are another matter entirely =3

I'm totally fine with being friends to gay people although I can't stand gay porn and other crazy shit that is connected to them.

I'm from the minority that finds yuri/lesbians disgusting. The same for yaoi/homos. I cannot tolerate it.

I think I should elaborate my post since this is SD but i've already stated my opinion and I have nothing to add.

I have really nothing against gays just as longthey don't try anything gay with me. I have absolutely nothing against lesbians, especially if it's yuri incenst.

All gays and lesbians I've met IRL were deeply disturbed, horrible people though.

I fit in right where a few have already spoken from. Being a guy, I'm gonna be biased towards thinking lesbians are perfectly fine. (Better then fine) And not dig gays. While I couldn't care less about them (As in, if you are that's fine and dandy, to each his own.) But I couldn't fathom liking another dude.

I think both are perfectly fine. I would never object to either form of homosexuality, however I do tend to avoid both real life gays and lesbians. All of the lesbians I have met in my life were ugly by my standards, both looks and personality, and the two gay guys I have met seemed so desperate to find a partner that I figured it would be a bad idea for me to hang out with them.
