Well first of all it isn't illegal to be nude in your house. And second of all how did they see all of him through a window when he was making coffee?

I guess if the laws really cover this, would be furthur explained as - If you get nude in your house and not being seen, you are legal, vice versa, if you are seen, you are fcked. Because there are dumb perv like the example below.
If a perv somehow purposely open the window and show himself nude to the street of people for him personal enjoyment, even tho he is standing in his home ground, that should be taken legal action. Which obviously, is what that woman thinks of this poor man's action.
Srsly tho, we humans do this dumb shit, its our home and we love to walk around without clothes after bath doing daily stuff, just because nobody is lookin at you. The same with some people holding a concert in the bathroom, nobodies lookin. Then sometimes, someday, some moment, surprise happens and someone saw you doing dumb stuff, so they either laugh on your dumb stuff, or sue you because they saw your dumb stuff.
Sadly now that I think of it, this man walked into an exposed area without knowledge of it, he probabbly didnt realise it. If there is no other evidence of the man being a perv or w/e, I hope he gets set free.

I don`t know the American justice system as well as I know the Canadian one.
They arrested him because "officers believed he wanted to be seen naked by the public". Typically officers can arrest and charge someone for anything, but to convict them criminally you have to prove Mens Rea and Actus Reus (That he did what he is accused of, and that he meant to do it). Civil cases are similar except that the plaintiff has the burden of proof to prove that the defendant is liable.
I think that the result of this case is going to lie within the technical details of the trial. The article mentioned that the defendant faces a fine and jail time if he is found guilty. Jail time to my knowledge is not a typical outcome of a tort case which leads me to believe that the defendant is being tried criminally by the state, not civily by the mother (again Canadian law, not American law, it might be different there). If the above is true, then the man should get off easily provided that he doesn`t screw up during the trial or have a house full of exhibitionist stuff, because the state can`t otherwise prove that he wanted to be seen by the public as per the original charge and the burden of proof lies with the state.
I have to wonder though how they could believe that he would want to be seen from his own house. I normally picture exhibitionists as those people who run around in trenchcoats opening them. It would be pretty stupid to be performing those acts from your own home where you could be tracked easily.

People we are clearly not safe in our own homes anymore.
In any case, wtf was the woman doing looking into people's houses anyway..isnt that like bad manners
He should sue the woman for intrusion of privacy and bad manners

I am rooting for the naked coffee maker. And when the women contacted the police for seeing a naked man in his kitchen at 5:30 in the morning the first response from the cop should have been, " And why were you spying on him that early for anyway, and trespassing for that matter"? But no, the only thing the cop cared about was; yay more money! Our legal system is so screwed up.

Sorry guys, but this is just another proof of The UStupidity. Seriously, this can't happen anywhere else, could it?If I was in his situation, I would sue that bitch for invading my privacy.
Words of wisdom!
Words of wisdom, yes, but you cant sue someone for having working eyes >.>

The problem is not that she can see, but that she was on the guy's property at night and spying on him. The only way to see him that early in the morning without being on his property would be to use night vision goggles and that is still invasion of privacy.

I think that's a very curious point that TAA brings up. What if the roles were switched?
This lawsuit itself is disgusting. Can't get some coffee naked in the confines of your own home without some stupid bitch ruining everything for you and getting the cops involved.

There's so many things wrong with this, to see him nude in a dark kitchen she must've has trespassed his lawn and put her face to the window, no?Is it not possible to counter sue her?
The 1 million question. If there's someone suspicious, it's that woman. It's dark and from a considerable range, how in how did she see him clearly like that if not by getting nearer?
Law these days hath forgotten the true meaning of justice that it isn't even law anymore.
Not necessarily. Some homes are built very close to sidewalks and/or streets depending on individual zoning laws. My house is only about 20 feet away from the sidewalk, if I had my blinds open and was walking around naked someone from the sidewalk could potentially see pretty well, especially if it was dark outside.

Okay. I am glad I don't live near that place, as I'd have been... well screwed over a couple of times. I tend to leave my clothes in my rooms and god knows how many times I have walked around naked in my own place from the bath ---> my sleeping room. If anyone wants to look? I don't care, it is my freaking flat, they don't have to look into the windows.
To be honest, I think as long as someone doesn't go and hangs his dick out of the open window, it goes by itself, that you can walk around in your own flat / house like you want to. If people think it is neccassary to go peeping into other peoples houses, I think it would be rather fair to sue them for invading your privacy, rather than the other way round
And seriously.... at 5.30 AM I have freaking other worries while brewing myself a coffee / coming out of the bath etc, than thinking about that poor, innocent, 'want to be a virgin' mother going around with her child, being shocked at seeing me after peeping into my window.

So much for 'justice'. I swear, Law is totally F***** up!! I mean, if a burglar got injured in attempt to rob your house, he can sue you!! Seriously! WTF?Couldn't be less subtle? https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=27669&start=60
That counts only for excessive force.
On topic.
Well people, welcome to this world.

I have two major questions.
1.Who's house has a window in the kitchen that is below chest height?
2.Why was that lady looking into his house in the first place?
First its the guy's fault for not closing his curtains but its the lady's fault for staring at the naked dude at all. I'm sure the guy wasn't trying to draw attention to himself.

Being arrested for being seen naked "AT HOME" is just rubbish in my opinion. I mean honestly.....
It's a bit weird. At my house I have glass doors but they open into the garden not to the streets.
I think neither is at fault but the lady took it a bit far by calling the police.

What the fuck is this shit? That's so stupid. The first question is what that woman was doing out with her kid at 5:30 in the morning. Second, this is in the privacy of his own home. It's not like he was running around flashing people. It's like taking a piss in your own home and someone sees your penis and they call the cops on you for it.

Why was he naked? I wonder
fapping perhaps?maybe he was having sex with someone?
What was that lady doing with her kid at 5:30 A.M.,taking the girl to school?
This has many questions.

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
If being naked in your own house is wrong, then I don't want to know what's right.
