Men Against Women?

Ok so my question is, Why do some men treat women like shit?
They are humans just like us and dont need to be treated like dirt under our feet.
I mean they have it so hard, dealing with PMS, Birth, and other shit and all we guys have is to worry about how much ass we are getting.
So i was playing Xbox live and this guy was telling this grow women to shut the hell up, and make him a sandwich, and saying for her not to speak when he is talking.
I am a man, but i do not treat women like the are only good for one thing so why do you mean treat women like shit? Do they deserve it? Why?
How do you treat your women?
Do you think treating them like slaves is ok? If so then why?

Im just stating me honest opinion.

Some men think that it really is how they should act because of their experiences with women. The worse they treat women, when they don't treat them as bad, they think women will appreciate it more. This way, women need to earn their love.

I think it's more of a recent trend though to say to a women "make me a sandwich" or something. Or at least, maybe I'm just really sheltered. I only heard of this sexist behavior in my first year of college and it was more of a joke and not serious though.

i think it's because many "men" are insecure. some may have mommy issues such as secret sexual feelings for their own mother that can't be expressed, or over compesation for a mother that is/was very controling. some may also just have learned from how their father treated their mother and just not know any better.

some men are unevolved pigs who think women are only for making babies and do shit work men don't want to.

Well for one thing, Xbox live is basically jackass central. Anyways,I would think it goes both ways. It probably starts off with a man treating a woman like shit (or vice versa) and then they just build up stupid ideas along their life that all women/men can be bitches/assholes whatever insult you wanna use. Obviously its not right to hit a woman, but that phrasing isn't right--It shouldn't really be right to hit anyone (unless self defence or whatnot). I would have to agree that any man beating a woman is a coward, though. It's just not right.

I have met stupid women who think its ok for them to hit men but not the other way around--If thats not sexism Idk what is, but sorry for giong off topic.

I see nothing bad there, my bf says stuff like that to me all the time "get back in the kitchen woman!" and stuff like that. But he doesnt mean anything bad with it, he's just teasing or something. And many people online say similar things to women they dont even know, but even then I dont think that most mean anything bad with it. Just like some women tease men about the stereotype that all men think about is sex and they all watch 3 hours porn in a day. I tease my bf about things like that too.
But ofcourse saying those things online to strangers can be worse, cause you dont know what kind of person you're telling those things to. (S)he might actually be the type that gets hurt easily.

I couldn't agree with you more. I, sometimes behave in sexism way with my gf, but that just teasing, same for her telling me that I'm a wuss for crying at the movies (lol), there are fetishes too you know?... :P Being mean and not letting people talk it's a completely different situation, as it is the guy raging at a woman for beating his ass at Xbox live lol.

On the other hand, It's not a question of "X vs Y", If you really think about it, women and men can beat the shit of each other. Women can be as mean as men. What really makes the difference is how were you raised. If they made you eat shit while you were young, guess what are you gonna do when you grow up (boy or girl, doesn't matter)...Yes, we can change, but that's other story...

And I think its silly how men causing physical pain to women are considered monsters, but a woman who causes physical pain to men isnt nearly as bad. imo no one is allowed to beat anyone, no matter what the gender is. And also, everyone should be able to protect him/herself by force (when needed), no matter what gender the person is who they're going to hurt.
It may be a funny way of thinking, but as a female I think its stupid, cause like OP said, we're people too after all, so when needed, men should be able to beat us up just like they would do to other men D; That may be a bit harsh, but women want to be equal with men, right? ;D

Yes but even if its consequent with the topic, imo, "equality" should be something else to discus in another topic. Men and women are not and will never be "the same". Well, rights are for all mankind, that's true. I hope I explained myself well XD.

Girls are delicate and fragile, and that's a feminine virtue. Sure there are some who are more independent and more tough but wear'e all women in the inside. Its a man's duty to love, respect, and protect a woman. Not to harass and degrade them, I mean what happen to the code of chivalry. There's a myth that nice guys finish last, but trust me that isn't true at all. All women appreciate kindness and value from a man.

Some men do hate women but there are just as many nice guys out there. It's sad when women only like men who are assholes but it's usually because of some past trauma... I used to get butthurt about this issue but the fragility of women is what makes them so beautiful. & I completely agree with everything luvydove said.

But you know what I have feelings and I don't hurt anyone cause volients solves nothing so anyone that hurts another human being deserves ten fold in return. Women do not deserve to be treated like they owe a man everything and the man Just sits back and beats off. No fuck that. Everyone says I'm not Like other men you know why? Because I don't have a dad, I was raised by women unwashed the only man in my family? Am I a pussy? Fuck no. I am just smart and I truly seen how women are and they deserve more then they get. I can admit that I do love myself some Sexist Jokes like "Get in the kitchen woman" and such but I mean no harm by telling them. And the people I tell it to never take me seriously which I am glad for.

But men that actually are like that are just sick. Women should be respected just like men.

People getting hurt by words coming from a stranger online are weak. Really.

It was mentioned in the thread but humans are animals there is still instinct many many years old, its not something we can simply force away. Its the primary reason why we find sex to be a integrated reason in our lives, its pure instinct to attempt to produce offspring, and its part of the reason why males have the tendency to be 'alpha'.

As for me I would never treat my girl like shit, and as such really would not tolerate those who would cause abuse to their women.
However if you treat ANYONE like they are not human, I don't care if you're male, female, somewhere in between, I will not tolerate that behavior in my presence.
On that same note, I will defend myself if struck be you girl or a guy.

Well, some guys tend to be insecure, and sometimes find an outlet. Some find sex as one, others find beating the first living thing they see. It's sad that some people can't control themselves andlet their anger run lose, but I find it depressing that some of these women can't get out of the abusive relationships because they believe that's the way they are supposed to be treated.

There are litterally women who believe that their job is to stay home while the man works.
