They just try it...I'd lead a fuckin' rebellion if I have to...I'll make sure Hentai will still stand in the Philippines even if it's the last thing I do. Serious.

"The government is runed by monkeys no my bad that would
be an insults to the freaking monkeys"
Looks like nothing changed after the elections.
The country is still led by stupid politicians
who would rather give a rats ass to banning hentai
than to more important things like crime and poverty.
But thank god I left the homeland sucks to be there
in the Philippines if the bill/law or
whatever gets approved.

Man that sucks. Sites like Fakku are a million times classier than other sites of its kind. I kinda understand the banning of loli but I think they're a little out of touch on the issue. Think about it, most of the stuff we fap to in hentai would be scaringly creepy if it actually happened. Most of us (I hope all of us) recognize that loli is terrible in reality, but I think it's fine in hentai. It's not like we encourage loli or anything. There is a huge difference between loli porn and loli hentai. I get creeped out instantly when I see loli on the Internet, and I guess we need to recognize that most people shun our preference on what we fap to right away. It's not that surprising that they'd ban loli hentai. You got to remember, the possibility of a fakku user sitting amongst the people who wrote the legislation is ridiculously small...
Damn shame, though.

U MAD?

To be honest, they might be able to stop selling hentai materials in Guadalupe or Bluementritt (Yes, I go there) at least temporarily, I don't they can stop the internetz. I mean we all just type "HENTAI" on Google the safesearch off.
Most probably this bill is for publicity. Who know? It might even bring hentai attention to this godawful country.

i am from the philippines and i say our politicians should just drop dead. our politicians know nothing but to fill their pockets with the taxes paid by us, hard working citizens. and now they are focusing on banning hentai instead of trying to resolve problems on poverty & corruption. no wonder this country is going to the dogs. now, if only i had a death note...Wow! just like Britain.

Hentai DVDs at Quiapo are always a bad copy. The most I got was a DVD containing 4 working episodes, 2 of Akiba girls and 2 episodes of Bible black. All of the other 8 episodes were not working. Plus, who would buy hentai is a legal establishment in the Philippines? I get my fix from Fakku and 4chan, so I don't worry much about the country banning the sales of hentai...
...unless they start arresting my naked ass as I peacefully fap in the privacy of my own room.

There's no way to determine if pornography depicting children is going to stop pedophiles from going out and doing it themselves or if it just makes them more susceptible to such behaviour. This response dose nothing to solve that problem, however. I think it's just the police being too lazy or incompetent to stop these things from actually happening, so they just ban material related to it. That way they can make the public believe that they're doing something about it.

How can they ban hentai? Only way to do that is to like get rid of the internet in the Philippines lol.

And that's nearly difficult, considering that computers and internet are the latest media of information. Well -- not that that's entirely impossible. Internet providers can block hentai sites, but then again, the latter will just return like flies.
Confiscating DVDs is just a temporary measure since the vendors get it from the internet anyway.

That sucks ಠ_à²
I'm half Filipino and have never been to the Philippines, but I guess if I ever did go, I'd be pretty busy to watch hentai.

Wow, banning loli? That's terrible, it really is. Especially for me, but i suppose they see loli as an influence to kids to dress and act as loli's do in hentai books, magazines and games. But I'm still against either way. Most states care for the fellow kids and their influences, or so they say, lol xD but they don't ban loli or hentai.

Hentai does not pose any health hazards and it is not like it is the major factor why this country is so fucked up right now. It is just entertainment but not like some form of dangerous vice. The government has more pressing matters to attend to. But like any bill without any super publicity will not reap any rewards, this bill will sure to fail because it's not sensational, unless some wanna be star, fag, granny or fat undesirable woman from some group or activist oriented school starts wasting money on a crusade to stop this very insignificant issue. In a nutshell, oh dear government "Look at the right direction and stop blaming others for your shortcomings ya hypocrites!".
