i personally believe that it the woman choice and abortion is better than sponging off welfare and creating more human to eat my food. of course i also believe in you have to pass a test and show you can afford a kid before you breed one. the last thing we need is retarded kids(not mental retarded just stupid kids) and you can't afford to feed them.

Take responsibility of your actions or the consequences will be major. I'd say if you decided to have sex consensually, deal with the responsibility. If you got rape or sexually abused, then that is up to the girl to decide. Its hard where to stand on this.

I'm prochoice. I've never weighed the personal and moral consequences because I'm not a woman and I have no intention of getting a woman pregnant. I think Jason Mewes put it best in Dogma "A woman's body is her own fuckin' business."

I don't give a crap about the life part, but if you say that abortion isn't wrong then that will just lead to problems. Also, I don't really see a way of having a system where you can have an abortion if you're raped since it would be easy to lie. Basically, there would be too much suspicion, and it would help degrade public morals. >.>

i never said it wasn't wrong but who are we to judge another choice when it not immoral religiously, i can quote bible verses about this being a middle ground. on side it against the commandments to kill but when is life real also their is a verse in the new testament that said that we suppose to follow the laws of our land like it was from the lord. personally im also angst the death penalty not for a right to life thing. it cruel and unusable punishment to lock up a person for life and never execute them, just kill them in a year if there solid proof and if not life

really, i just don't think that a middle ground is possible here.

to me, from a political standpoint, adopting pro-choice will send a bad message that its o.k. to just have sex and get an abortion.

maybe it's asking for too much, but I'd like it if the world were one where there wasn't a need to worry about such things.

i don't think being pro choice would sent a message of promiscuity or sex and birth control via abortion.. ok there some that uses abortion like the pill but those people are retarded since if you have more than one abortion the chance of pregnancy decrease by 2/3. but the flip side is that abortions where started by religious authority to keep the priests and even the pope from fathering illegitimate children. if the churches allow birth control then the abortion rate would drop by LEAST 60%.

if you catholic, life start at formation but you have no soul intil your birth and breath you first breathe, so unborn babies are not subject of existence, no heaven no hell no limbo, nothingness. and this is coming for a father of one with another coming in a month, excommunicated catholic and a ordained priest in the Gnostic faith.

I'm pro-choice. It bugs me that so many people treat a human life as something sacred when to me it really isn't, no ones life is sacred.

But I also believe that if someone has an abortion they have no right to complain about it or blame anyone but themselves, if you choose to have an abortion you also acknowledge the burden you may have afterwards because of it. It was due to your own fault and mistake. (unless of course you were raped.)

However my mum got pregnant before she had me and aborted, she simply didn't like the guy she was with at the time and was very young, she didn't want that persons child, and she holds no regrets or guilt for aborting. I respect my mum a lot for that.

Babies are bloody tumours up to birth, and even then they're just parasites feeding off the mother. Kill them if you want to, they won't know it.

Your choice is whether or not to have sex. You can choose whether or not to have it, but you damn well better be ready to take responsibility for it.

It's like driving. You choose whether or not you want to drive a car as long as you are ready for it. But you have to be willing to take responsibility if you fuck up.

In case of rape, I would suggest that they would be allowed to choose whether they want to or not as it was not their choice to engage in sex. Of course, I would also suggest that in these cases, therapy would need to be taken before they could make their decision.
