Pulling the Trigger..Could You Do It ?
0
I don't think I'd have any problem pulling a trigger to injure or even kill if it was in my favor to do so. Even if "in my favor" just meant that I was being paid to do so or it was my job or that thug over there (who I'm not working with, I do have some concept of right and wrong after-all) has a briefcase full of money that could quite easily be mine. I know I know, I'm a terrible person. Doesn't matter as I neither have a gun nor have any training using one.

one of my freinds was in vietnam and he told me that when he was drafted he thought that there was no way he would have enough courage to pull the trigger.
but when he had a bunch of people shooting at him he found that courage had nothing to do wiht it. he started shooting without thinking about it.
so I think that if people were shooting at me and I had a gun I would shoot back

What if you only had a knife?

Saying you could pull the trigger and actually doing it are two ENTIRELY seperate things. I go to the shooting range often, but its nothing like taking a life.
I remember the first time I went hunting. I was down in Southern Indiana with a friend, and when I finally got a good size buck in my sights I had to stop for a moment. When I was about to pull the trigger everything hit me at once. I was going to take this animal's life. After I pulled that trigger, the deer's existance would be gone forever, it would be no more... But I tightened up my body and squeezed, I had to. I remember the shouts of joy from my friend after the shot rang off, and when I looked again through the sights, the deer was just lying there. It was dead. I felt remorse after that and I havent gone hunting since.
Although if it were to defend someone I care about, I could pull the trigger again. But taking a defenseless animal's life is much more difficult than it sounds.

Since 2010
I'd only be able to pull the trigger if I was
in rage mode like if someone killed my friends and/or Family then
I'd pull the trigger and rip there body apart with my bare hands.

Remember me?
I could. I'm a heartless evil bastard, I feel no guilt and no remorse about anything.

A soldier cannot start thinking about his enemy as human. If you were to actually start considering the fact that these people may have families to look after, a job, being functional and well-liked members of their respective societies... It becomes that much more difficult.
As for me personally, it highly depends on the situation. If I were able to rationally and objectively determine that the person deserves it, I will, with no qualms.

I lol'd at the Liberal sissies part. I find it funny that most people call Liberals sissies when we are trying to keep our soldiers from dying in a war that never should have happened. But conservatives are like "let's go kill some people putting thousand of American soldiers at risk!"
I'd probably be able to take the shot.

Entirely situational, but yeah, if necessary. I'd be more worried my aim would be off and doom me and any surrounding people to the individual/s retaliation.
