Pulling the Trigger..Could You Do It ?

I could do it. But I would hesitate I think. Knowing how I work I wold contemplate my action and how much it affects people before I would do it. However, if I am pointing a gun at someone then they did something to make that so. If they have brought me to that then they are finished.

I have receintly been think about joining the military receiently, the British army to be exact. And I think I could pull the trigger. As a matter of fact I want to pull the trigger. Just this year in University I took a war in Western Culture class and I want to know what it feels like to fight in a war. I want to experience combat.

This conflicts with my generally liberal outlook on politics but I want to test myself in battle and and the enemy of Britain and the Queen like my ansestors did in the past.

As for what situation I would have to be in to tpull the trigger it would have to be in a situation where I felt my life or the life of my squadmates was in danger. I would not just kill someone for the hell of it. But in war where I was fighting an enemy of Britain and the Queen I would defenatly pull the trigger.

Of course I'm, only speaking from conjectured ld pull the triger until I got there. But if you ask me the question right now then I think I would pull the trigger.

First off, thanks for serving, second, I'd try and look at it like "It's either me or him, and if he gets away how many of my friends will he kill" and try and not look at it as a "him" or "her" but an "it", like I do with animals hunting.

Its a yes and no for me. I mean. 1st I dont want anyone on my conscious. =/ 2nd How would I know? Unless your in the situation I say my judgement isnt coming from any real experience. And 3rd. Unless you shot a gun like at a shooting range or whatever I dont think I could unless it was a life or death situation.

Well the way I see it if I didnt pull the trigger id just be letting the guys in my unit down, If one of them got hurt or died because of my hesitation then it really wouldnt be good.

Its also part of the training and part of the job.

Well if I am left with no more choices then I'll shoot. Since when I was 10 I joined a jr training camp for kids who wanted to join the army and I was taught many things you would expect from being in a army training camp, so I mean my point is I'll only pull the trigger when the situation calls for it.

well. i think i can't pull the trigger. but maybe a very harsh circumstance will push me to do so.

If my family or friends were in danger, i would pull the trigher in a heartbeat without even thinking about the effects that may come for this action.

If I had to yes.Pulling the trigger is pretty easy,it can get bad after that,for example if you have to reload or you missed.

If anyone so much as threatened any of my loved ones I would blow their fucking brains out without a second thought.

I may be pretty docile when it comes to me, but I will not stand for people trying to mistreat my loved ones.

The person lost their right to a life when they threatened the lives of others.

I think most, if not all the people who ask that question have never killed anything bigger than a spider. i have killed and butcherd things so i could eat them. my point is, our society has become very detatched form death it self. we want meat, we go to the store and buy it, we don't have to think about the animal being killed. funeral homes handle our dead loved ones, but it used to be, when someone died, they were brought to your house and laid out on the diner table. you had to wash and dress them for burial. it was in your face. you had to deal with it.

Maybe? The act of pulling a trigger, thats easy, the act of taking a life, thats easy. The mental and pyschological chaos that comes before, during and after? Hard to say how I'd deal with it.

No. I wouldn't pull the trigger. Even if a gun was pointed at me, I wouldn't pull the trigger.

Maybe I'd smack the person in the head with the gun or something (or if a male, I'd hit him elsewhere...). I dislike violence with a burning passion. I'd do anything but actually harm the person. I'd at least try to knock them unconscious and let someone else deal with it.

It really depends on the situation if your looking into the eyes of a man who eats babies and then sells their bones as fine china, yeah it doesn't seem so hard to kill him but even so it's still the act of taking a life, it doesn't matter if it's you sliver haired grandma who spent her whole life prechewing food for the homeless or the prementioned baby eater, your still killing someone, and it's really not the person your kill who your hurting (what do they care they'll be dead) its the persons family. So say the baby eater has a daughter, and the baby eater is actully selling the baby bones so he can pay for her operation cause she has some deadly illness, if you killed him, his daughter would probably die(all cause of you), so you never know what will happen if you kill that person they could windup finding the cure for cancer.... just saying, so i guess that's a no, even thought I'm a writer and i prefer horror where just about everyone dies, i couldn't actully ever kill someone.
