Those old guy in the Congress do they really want to start a chaos? If they really going to do that my vote will go to those who oppose. I think that the best choice i can gIVE to prevent that from happening.
'SPREAD THE WORD'

The revolt that will happen if SOPA somehow scores a pass is going to be amusing to watch...
And then I'm going to rage. Hard. I mean, seriously, I don't serve in the military expecting this kind of shit to pop up in the country I'm sworn to protect... but hell, I'm just another pawn. :(

Another way to stop this, a massive strike from the big company such as google, yahoo, firefox, and Facebook to temporarily stop their service.
If we manage to do that a massive outbreak from all over the continent will go out in rage blaming these SOPA bill.
This will sure installed fear on those scumbags at the congress who support those bill.
Why not? their vote come from us! the citizen! if we don't like those kind of leader we can change it easily. We are the power itself, THE CITIZEN OF U.S.A.

PIPA is coming up on Jan 24. Both the Hold and filibuster debate against PIPA was broken when CLOTURE was invoked to kill the filibuster that was holding it back.
PIPA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PROTECT_IP_Act
The competing bill that also fights copyright violators, but is less obnoxious is the OPEN Act. While less obnoxious, it still stops the transfer of money or other types of payments for websites violating intellectual property laws. Thus, if the website operator or staff are USA citizens, or the server is in the USA, or the server (anywhere in the world) is operated or jointly-owned by a USA company or USA citizen, or payment passes through a payment operator that is regulated by the USA laws, then that payment can be stopped.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_Protection_and_Enforcement_of_Digital_Trade_Act
Figuratively speaking, it is technically possible to apply OPEN Act for a site whose staff is not in the USA, doesn't have USA citizenship, and the servers are outside the USA if the payment somehow enters the hands of a financial entity that is regulated by USA laws. The chances of that are pretty high as you can guess. When that happens, the USA gov't can order one of those stop or hold payment things, and even if the payment already reached the destination, the amount would be redacted from that server company's accounts because it was an invalid payment. Ho, ho, ho. Thus, if someone reported Fakku for a violation, and that report was submitted by someone reputable and registered with homeland security as a security entity, the report just might be enough to unilaterally trigger a hold on Fakku's next server payment. Or if Fakku lived overseas in a non-extradition country, the next time he visited the USA, his name would be in the computer to be detained for violation of homeland security via the OPEN Act.
YEAH, yeah, this is all far-fetched aluminum foil hat if it was a civil matter. But PIPA or OPEN make it a _criminal_ matter. That makes all the difference between wearing a foil hat and not wearing a foil hat.

SOPA is all over the net recently, and I can't help but think that FAKKU! May soon be shut down because of it. I hope not, this site has been a part of my life since 4 years ago.
SOPA - STOP ONLINE PIRACY ACT.
It has its ups and downs, however it's like going back to the medieval age for me. Knowledge is restricted.
