What if hentai gets banned, PERMANENTLY?

What he wrote on June 23rd has no effect today though, and if you checked my the link I gave you, it still isn't pretty. In fact, there was thread in Random regarding banning foreign IPs to their websites regarding certain eroge companies.

The fact that I can buy hentai out of a vending machine makes me doubt that it will ever get banned. I think just a website or two is changing their policies so the wont carry rape or loli. But I got a hunch this is because hentai is being more widely viewed. Japan has a problem right now with men not being interested in getting girlfriends or marrying or even having sex with women. I think they call them "green men" or "grass men"... google it I guess...

Anyways, so there are people who are looking for this stuff and finding hentai that is offensive. Certain places are just being accomadating to those people now by getting it off their site to be more respectable. Thats my opinion anyways.

That sounds more like an arrest for material that was real child pornography. You have to remember lolicon doesn't necessarily mean the same thing in Japan as it does overseas. To us lolicon is a genre of anime and manga that depicts underage girls, but in Japan it really only refers to the Lolita Complex, which means the men could have gotten in trouble for posting actual child pornography.

Besides that it sounds more like they were arrested for failure to comply with a federal investigation (i.e. refusing to follow a legal order.) No matter what the situation you just don't do that.

I don't think we need to signal the coming of the apocalypse just yet.

Those men had to have been previous targets. You can't tell me they just randomly found these two individuals and followed their movements and made random arrests. The average person is just as safe as they were before this whole charade.
