Anyway, yeah its gonna ruin both of their lives. She would probably need to drop out of high school to have the thing, and he would probably need to drop out to get a job and pay for it. Babies cost at least $15,000 per year, which means the guy (and maybe even the girl) will need to get full-time jobs. And without a high school diploma, you aren't going anywhere in life. So get used to living on the welfare.

I know its controversial, but I would recommend that the couple gets an abortion. Unless religion or some other belief is stopping them from doing so. Because a kid at that age WILL ruin their lives.

Life would be ruined, if not ruined then just incredibly difficult. It wouldn't necessarily destroy my life but it sure as hell wouldn't be an easy think to take care of in the event there was no abortion. Having a kid at that age is an extremely shitty idea unless your family is rich or something like that. In short, you're fucked(normally).

I would do the responsible thing and stay with her and become a parent.

Well that would probably explain half of the world's population. Or at least most of the stupid teenagers here in the US...

OT: Your life is pretty much screwed. There's no way you can stay in school and have a kid at the same time. You either have to have very generous that will help you in your time of need, or have a parent that's filthy rich.

Either way, if none of those two exist you're setting your self up for a long and painful walk down the road of reality.

No, really though. Not gonna lie, but if this is a cry for help, sorry kid: you made an adult decision when you got it on with that girl, and now you're going to have to deal with the consequences like an adult.

I had a great example, my brother, as in what NOT to do. He's 23 and has three kids already. Had his first at 17 (coincedently) and had to drop outta high school to support the little punk.

It's like this. You can believe you love each other very much, keep the child, stay together and what not. But you will have to change your life. Money is a big concern as the child will need a lot of things to live properly. Just think, some adults have problem with a baby coming into their lives, imagine someone that's technically not at a legal age to do much.

People need to take in that sex isn't just fun & games. They need to know if they are able to support having a baby if anything happens.
