consider the definition before saying they were out of line... or comparing it to counterstrike lol. both his emails and loli could be considered obscene, i just cant believe that theres a law like the protect act in place to solidify ideals.

I don't really have a problem, 'cause i'm not very interested in loli, BUT, i don't know whats the goverment criteria for a loli character, i mean, most characters in manga or anime that are supposed to be 18+ look underaged (for obvious reasons, i mean, no age marks, perfectly designed bodies, tender faces, etc).

People fear because what if the one home the authorities check is their home?

18+ hentai characters? Fakku us predominantly doujin, which means alot of 13-17 y/o characters. I can think of three Kisaraki Gunma works as well, and about half of the mangas total here that would technically be considered to contain underage characters. (not counting mangas like Iruzumi's Rei series. What 14/yo has tits like that? (Sayaa Irie aside))

Calm down, guys. This is one person out of hundreds of thousands. It's also illegal to drink and drive, buy alcohol underage, have sex underage (or with underage people), smoke underage, to board a train without a ticket and so many other things that most people have done and will do every single day of their lives without any repercussions whatsoever. I don't know anyone who waited till they were 18 before buying alcohol and most people I know have had sex with someone under 16. My dad never wears a seatbelt and that's also illegal.

JK, but seriously, it never hurts to be paranoid. Shit happens. People also think they're safe drinking and driving, that they won't be the ones to get in a crash, but they do.

I know all characters aren't over 18+ but I dare you to find another site, even from importing companies like JList or Peach Princess, that doesn't have a disclamer that states that all characters from eroges or doujins they sell are over 18, or even hentai they show or sell. Here's an example:

Well to me this man deserved the jail time. From what i read its not the loli that got him in trouble but more the real cp he had. I mean if he had gotten 20 years for just the loli then i would say thats just wrong. So basically as long as you dont have real cp on your computer your safe because loli manga is still a grey area as far as its legality goes in many countries.

i know where your coming from raw, but sites like j-list arent exactly accumulating pirated material like fakku, theyre trying to make a profit. you have to have a strict set of standards in place as a business in order to appeal to a wider audience, and underage sex is pretty controversial as we already know. they would probably lose more money then they would gain from adding loli related material to their already expansive list so in my opinion it was a good move. think of it as a good marketing tactic, not total bs.
