Xbox360Achievements.org always seems to get their hands on all the achievements for a game before the game is released, so it wouldn't be a surprise if those are all of the achievements for the game.wait seriously? O.o how the heck can they get hands on the achievements without the game being released.

Just so I'm sure, when is it being released?
Because I saw two of the trailers here, and one said 10/11 and another said 10/13.

The "Optimum" control scheme was a little awkward at first for me, but the original one wouldn't cut it for DFM. And I felt I needed to keep it 3rd person in "free flight", I'll call it, and switch to 1st person in DFM.
I guess I just need to get used to it, because after going through it a second time, I thought it was great. Just preordered it.

The "Optimum" control scheme was a little awkward at first for me. to me the "optimum" controls was like blazing angels 2 on extreme prejudice. of course it seemed to fit the dogfight mode good, but I want to be able to pour a cup of coffee while doing arial acrobats and listen to aerosmith without having to grow 4 arms and become super human. so I switched to the standard controls to that I am use to, and I felt right at home. and the helicopter mission I was okay with the default controls, I only had to switch to 1rst person the majority of teh mission to make full use of my rockets and not miss alot with them. might put in some pratice on the helicopter mission with 3rd person before the full game comes out.

Since I do not have XBL Gold Subscription... I can't play the demo.
I saw the IGN Gameplay and... the player bounces off a Low Res texture of the ground.... I was wondering if that is actually true in the demo....
Also how is the gameplay, is it the same as the previous games or is it more easier to control?

actually I noticed a lil more detail put into teh ground then ace combat 6. the game play was quite awesome, even if it was two missions. Miami which has been shown alot in trailers, especially the first trailer. and the only known apache mission which was demo at e3.
the controls again I do not like teh default since they kept me from doing aero acrobats while dodging and shooting missiles my way. but luckly they had a second set of controls and I felt right at home. the attack chopper controls were on teh dot.
another thing I just now noticed. was regenerating health. v.v in both teh demos missions. dunno if it is demo only or we will be seeing it in teh full game. but I dunno about it being in ace combat.

tried the demo and loving it =3 i loved that they also have controls to roll instead of turn (was one of my fears which got debunked, thankfully). Getting rusty with gunning but i still have my touch ;D im glad the game is still playable even without using DFM.
i found chopper missions to be harder (i think its mainly coz im not used to the controls yet, feels abit FPSish though so its not THAT difficult) but its still awesome =3 definitely worth the pre-order

Cool. That oughta keep me playing it for a while once it comes out. Keeps seeming better every time I hear of an update.
And the Yellow's paint job again, huh? Sweet. I wonder if there'll also be the Mobius paint for the F-22.
