I agree that the change in fire rate with the AN94 was annoying. This gun was a beast in Bad Company 2, and I was able to headshot snipers at 200+ meters with a red dot sight.

I got used to the new rate by controlling by bursts and adjusting my aim to the bottom right a little to compensate the recoil when shooting from afar. As for close range, I used to use the 50mm Shotgun in BC2 (retardedly overpowered) so I opted for the MASS.

Well, based off what it says on the Battlelog regarding the next BF3 update, the FAMAS is getting nerfed with some serious ass recoil to make it little more than a CQB bullet-hose for the Assault class.



I've no doubt that this will make PLENTY of fags cry, now that their glorified laser (to borrow a word from Kaimax) is no more.

These two buffs, however, makes it feel like it's Christmas again.



The G3 is now once again a viable mid/long ranged weapon. And while it's not quite the buff I was hoping for on the AN94, I'll gladly accept it and be on my merry way.

Does anyone else get the "You have been disconnected from EA Online (1)" error all the time? It makes the game almost unplayable for me, it took me over an hour this morning to find a game.

^ Nothing like that but it happens occasionally. Maybe like once or twice a day.

I get that often on a weekly basis it seems.


also did anyone notice that in that long list of patch notes that "LGM will be distracted by flares now" if so then wtf is the point of ECM. also that "flares now have a shorter rechagre time". would be a lil hard to get that one shot disable now that you unerf the stingers but dam why you giving the choppers near invincible powers? I love teh fact that you are fixing the havoc, but that is the only thing I think that should be fixed.

I just know that the first thing I'm going to try to do with that is mimic the Dukes Of Hazzard horn as I'm ramping a humvee over some dunes.

Edit: Managed to kill a low-flying chopper with a grenade launcher. Hit the bird right in the cockpit, kiling the pilot and a passenger. What's better is that when the same pilot flew the chopper in circles around a sniper in my squad, I helped out my teammate by lobbing another 40mm grenade up to the pilot's face.

As we're speaking, me and my friends (about 5 guys) are having a competition "Who can shoot down the most pilots with a sniper".
Rules:

• You can use any sniper you want.

• You have to shoot the pilot.
  (or the gunner on an attack heliopter, it doesn't count if you shoot the gunner in a scout helicopter)

• The helicopter have to be airbourne.

So whats the trick to shooting guys out of choppers?

dunno but if you want some advice. get an mg with forgrip. when teh sucker fly low and he dcides to face you. unload into the windsheild. I am not skilled enough to shoot a pilot out of the seat of his chopper.

Spray and pray. Basically just aim towards the chopper. You'll kill at least one passenger and even the pilot if you're lucky.

Guesstimation does the trick nicely.

Use what you know about bullet drop and guess how far should you track (what is the correct term, the one wherein you put the crosshairs before the actual target itself) the target.

• Bullet drop

• If the bird is flying, shoot a little ahead of it

• Scout Helicopter: Pilot on the right side

• Attack Helicopter: Pilot behind the gunner

• Jet: Goodluck hitting that

One Question, is it better to use 6x(Sniper scope) or 8x(Ballistic Scope)?
I my self always use 8x (Ballistic Scope) because i'm to lazy to change. -_-

Funny accident of the Day:
-Killed a Support who was arming a Claymore
-Managed to sneak past his claymore
-turn back and decides to destroy it
-shot at it, it's destroyed, But I got a kill... lol

It turns out a guy was right in front of the claymore when I destroyed it.

then another one when I killed one guy, but then 2 other guys was killed by my claymores. Rewarding me a Triple Kill.

The look on my face when I saw 3 kills on my screen at the same time. Priceless.

I Love the "Retard Magnet"

Although some times I'm also the retard.. lol

Good things tend to happen when the Claymore is around.

Got the urge to try and unlock some equipment for my jet. So I started a round of conquest and jumped into a Flanker. No less than 10 seconds after taking off, an enemy Super Hornet blows my ass out of the sky with his 20mm cannon. Guy had Air Radar, IR Flares, and Heat Seekers. I only have the first 3 unlocks for my bird.

Tried flying again, guy came from behind me again, and got a lock on me with his missiles. I used flares and evaded, but couldn't see where he was. He then shot me out of the air again with his 20mm. Similar thing happaned 4 more times before I decided to leave the match before my K/D got any worse. I only had 10 points after all that time from a single spot from earlier. Couldn't get anything done before that guy got on my ass and took me out. What's worse is that I had no way to know where he was when he wasn't directly in front of me.

TL;DR. I need Air Radar.
