James bond style: Mp443, mav, and jeep only

Been trying to fly heli's but because on conquest the other team always has guys with all heli stuff and I ain't got shit I always get taken down in a few secs... same goes for when I play rush... since there is always at least one or two guys with a javelin

I used to fly really well in bad company 2 but I can fly for shit in BF3 for some reason. I've even tried messing with the flight controls, but having that stupid "ROLL" control sucks ass and makes me mess up all the time

it took me a while to get good enough. now I fly like a beast in the viper and teh other nible choppers.

I did the 2nd Co-op mission and found it a lot like the multi-player...

Just sucks that I can't increase my air-craft classes because everyone got anti-air gear and shit

I just ride with other people and repair their little birds when they get hit. if I'm a gunner in a viper then watch out.. I'm beast at that lol

No, you need to fly in 3rd person.

No, I'm in third-person view whenever I'm not trying to use my cannons or heatseekers. What I really need is my teammates on the ground to spot enemy aircraft and vehicles for me as third-person view only does so much. I have a hell of a time trying to find an enemy jet after shaking it off my tail as it can be a real bitch to try and catch sight of a small, moving speck amongst the destruction below. But since my teammates can't be bothered to do anything to actually support the team, I'm often flying blind. Or near-sighted, as it were. Which is why I need the Air Radar. So that I won't be dependent on the non-existent support of my team.

Why the hell is it so hard to get a kill with a jet?

tried shooting at people while flying but got taken out by heli or other planes...

too many people with all the unlocks in the enemy team

Early on, your best bet is to go after ground vehicles. Namely, tanks, as they're slow moving and only really need one or two passes with your 20mm cannon to be taken out. When you get the heat seekers it becomes easier to go after enemy choppers and jets.

However, like I said earlier, my biggest problem is actually catching sight of enemy vehicles (usually aircraft) when my teammates won't spot targets for me. While I'm wasting my time trying to find something to shoot at, I've already got someone punching holes in my bird.

A good way to avoid jets and other helicopters is to spin' around, try not to go straight!

Ive been playing for months and still havent gotten a single jet kill, I just dont fly at all.

I can't fly any jet...lol. Usually got shot down before I can even practice my flying. So I just never gave a fuck anymore and stick with helicopters.
We really need a practice or tutorial mode.

I could fly jet from the start, natural gift i guess.
But i got my first kill with it in colonel 3.
And because i suck at shooting down birds and others jet, i usually go for roadkill! ^_^
Btw, i bought the game on the first day.

I see learn to fly servers all the time, maybe ill join the next one I see and play around a bit.

Dlcs have been announched dudes and dudetts.

Battlefield 3 is set to receive three downloadable content packs starting this June.

Similar to Back to Karkand, each of the packs will offer new maps, weapons and vehicles.

The first DLC will be known as Close Quarters and the maps will focus on indoor infantry only maps with multiple combat levels. It will feature four new maps, 10 new weapons and is set to release a week early on PlayStation 3.

One of the maps is known as Ziba Tower and is set in an office block with plenty of glass to shatter.

The second add-on is called Armored Kill and will focus on tank combat. The DLC will include the game’s biggest map to date and adds a new vehicle. No release date was given.

Finally there’s End Game, which is scheduled to ship next winter. DICE is not giving anything away about this one.

also the massive patch we been hearing about. it might be released this spring, dunno if that is ture, but lets hope it comes out before the dlcs >.>
