If you already accomplished the assignments they will appear in the weapon selection.
If you don't buy the DLC, then they won't appear at all.

so you get the dlcs and do the assignments to get them?

Well I got assignments and did some of them... just didn't know they were part of the dlcs

I get what your saying, but at the same time this is nothing new for EA either.

And i think battlefield: Play for free had it too.
And these are just Dice titles, theres plenty more in the total EA library. If anything i think its more EA forcing Dice to do it more then anything. Honestly im surprised it took them this long to get the cash shop going.

The usas with frags before was the instant godliness for noobs and people who suck at shooting.

As a guy who has 900 kills with it: It's not even worth it anymore, Might as well use the buck or flechete.

DAO+Flechete is the new USAS... somehow lol Got killed in most games by the DAO now.

My dad had 10000 kills with USAS-12

I find that the M1014 with Frags is great. Not as great as the pre-patched USAS-12, but still decent with Frags.

On another note, I do like what they did with the patches. The only thing I wished they would have fixed is that weird glitch in where when you play quite a few games, a lot of the stuff goes blank on you, like Medals and Ribbons, and the such.

Regarding shotguns, i use saiga 12k w/12 Gauge Buckshot. It works really good.
My friends tell me to swith but i'm too lazy too swith...

Is it me, or does the MG36 have more recoil post-patch, than it had pre-patch? I really didn't read into all the specifics of the patch for all of the weapons, but due to the patch, it seems like it got nerfed.

Oh well, I still find the MG36 one of the more accurate MGs still in the game.

For shotguns i really enjoy using the 870mcs and for some reason the M26Mass. 870 is just good fun because you have to be really up close and personal to make it useful and get the 1 shot kill, much closer then the auto shotties and since its pump action theres not a ton of room for error.

The m26mass is my for laughs gun, it can be good in some instances but more often then not to me its more of a wasted slot but i sure do love getting hate mail when i use it xD

Actually, it's the other way around. The 870 has the tightest spread and deals more damage than any other shotgun at longer ranges. Basically, it's the best all-around shotgun, but it's limited by it's ROF. The other shotguns work around the lack of damage, accuracy, etc. by using it's high ROF to put more lead in the air to compensate for it.

anybody play ps3? ever since the patch my connection to matches has been laggy as fuck. ore-patch i've had no problems but damn, seems like i get no kills and only assists or surpression assists. its starting to piss me off.

870 MCS post patch is simply delightful with 12g slug ammunition, Nice and rangey! (Its a one shot killer up close) Seems to me like the slugs have been buffed.

And I use the M26 too underneath my G3A3, The M26 (Darts) really compliments the G3! :D

Also you get hate mail for using the M26(?) Im so jealous. ;) (Ive only had 1 piece of hate mail... MAVing) Lol~

I play ont the PS3, but I havn't downloaded the patch yet. I'm waiting for my family to get some better internet. Seriously, the thing sais that the download would be 300+ minutes, and it normaly takes longer than what it sais for the download to finish.

I just played Battlefield 3 on xbox while playing a VN on the laptop, IT'S IMPOSSIBRU!
You can all try but you will most likely fail.
The only person i think got a chance to accomplish this is Kaimax.

Yeah i got hatemail just the other night on my own server, it was pretty empty there were only 3 enemies and me by myself on my team. I thought it would be interesting to see how long i could last with the M26mass, turns out i wrecked them lol. They left when the match was at 15 - 3 lol. Then i got 3 separate hate mails from each one xD "Shotgun noob" ,"Hacker Admin", "How do i get that gun" lol!


I also play on the PS3 and havent noticed an increased amount of lag. I dont really feel any difference at all.

Hey is m26mass any good?, i have it but never used it.

It takes a while to get used to, the pump on it to me is a little bit longer then the 870's. If your really close to the enemy and get them in the chest or head it will kill them, but more often then not it takes at least 2 shots to pull off the kill.
Once you get used to it though its alot of fun to use and the later ammo it can get pretty beastly. As noted earlier the G3+Darts is a great combo as they both compliment each other very well.
