Yeah I suck at piloting jets.

after trying so hard to get .44magnum I have made a revelation

Its not that good

Pros = 2 hit kill normally. Very affective if you use a bolt-action rifle as prime and are able to get off a clean hit with it first before switching to pistol. (usually how it goes for me)

Con =

1.Somewhat inaccurate with both aiming downsight and hipfire. The accuracy is only really good for a split second when switching from prime. With scope its still not that accurate but still not bad. (I once shot at a guy lying down with all 6 rounds while hipfiring and didn't get a kill... neither of us moved... Happened again at a different time but I aimed down sight) A lot of the time even if I am able to get off a bunch of shot the gun is so inaccurate that the bullets go right by the guy. I know I am not the most accurate of guy... especially when it comes to auto-weapons at a distance.. but c'mon... I switched back to the rex for a bit and I was getting hits just fine...

2.I already knew it was slow but c'mon... why is it this slow? At times it seems to be a change in its speed but it could just be me.

I also noticed that the AEK and M4A1 are really buff now.

I'm pretty much the same, I only Kill in Helicopters and I'm good at transport.



I laugh seeing that USAS is still my #1 weapon. Planning to dethrone it, the candidates for now is the P90, AS VAL, with F2000 and M416 behind.



It ultimately depends on the user itself, if it wasn't a good weapon, it wouldn't be in my top 10.

they said I wasn't

however I wasn't getting any hits and I would get killed

I mean I was all exited to get it. I prefer power over bullet count because I found myself shooting guys but not getting kills because of lack of power. When I use the .44 I can't get more then a single shot off... and if I do get more then one shot the gun misses completely. As I said before when I switched from my primary to the pistol I can shoot accurately with it for a split second. However any more shots then that I can't get shit half the time. It's not the recoil fucking me.... I could be perfectly still holding aim but the moment I fire I hit nothing but air

Exactly what happened with me, I got lucky and got 2 kills to unlock Missiles, but its still frustrating.

Was this pre or post patch?
Because I'm still hitting with it.

I seem to recall the .44 having a signifficant drop in accuracy after the first shot is fired. While all guns have this, it's usually not that noticable for pistols. Then again, the .44 does fire really big bullets. Basically, the first shot will be fine. The shots fired directly afterward, won't be. The gun does recover accuracy if you give it a bit of time, so just pace your shots when firing at a distance and you can get over the accuracy drop with some success. It's the same with all other high-powered weapons in the game, but it's just more frustrating when your sidearm has the same problem.

To be fair, the gun has it's own uses. I won't say it's a niche weapon, as I've seen some teammates outright murder enemy players, but there are definitely some areas where the .44 accels at. But like I said in an earlier post, the M1911 is an excellent hold-out gun in CQC. Even better if you have a tac-light for it.

Practice with a friend on co-op. That's how I got good with choppers.

Anyway just a question whats the difference with putting aim assist on/off? tried it and I didn't notice any difference, by the way I play at the ps3 so i don't know if the PC/xbx version has it.

If you want a fair fight then use the "naked" M1911! Big Boss would be proud if you used it!

I do. For the most part. I like the way the Colt .45 looks without attachments. But on some maps like Metro, I pretty much need the tac-light. Partly for the dark lighting, but mostly to give myself a chance to compete with the players running around in a blood-fueled, shotgun rampage.

Also i made a bet to one of my friend (Gillis the Pro), who would make the most kills with the M1911.
After 2 deaths, he started using the Usas -____-

24 kills. That's pretty damned impressive. My killcounts typically range from 10-20, depending on the game type, reaching 30+ on what I call my "good days". I can't usually commit myself to using only one weapon. Exceptions go to guns that I'm trying to unlock attachments for. For the most part, I typically keep to my primary firearm, switching only to my pistol when I know I can get away with it. Even then, I tend to get a little crazy with the knife on certain maps.

Btw, I've been trying my hand at flying again. No more getting shot down by the fucking Red Baron. Guess the server update got more people flying jets than just the crazy-skilled pros. In one extended match of Conquest, I disabled/killed 5 jets, a tank, and the poor engineer who had to misfortune to be standing in front of said tank. Hell, I even suicide killed 2 helicopters that I had trouble locking in on with my missiles. Not sure if it's a good thing or not, but I thought it was pretty damn funny.
