BBU is fucking stupid agh :(
in any case, I played GGAC until the local scene pretty much died after BB came out. It's unfortunate that the sheer learning curve of GGAC keeps people away from it though, since it's easily one of the best made and most balanced games ever made.
quoted for fucking truth ^^

only MBAC was an actual PC game instead of a game that hasn't been emulated properly yet.
anyway, news on a possible console port for Continuum Shift...

People who got the leak got mixed results from flawless gameplay to I/O errors.

Well I played it and while it was slow, it worked first time without any messing around. If you have a good CPU and graphics card, it should work. You can turn off the 3D backgrounds and lower the resolution of the sprites. Any controller will work, I used some terrible, cheap one, and I'm pretty sure you can just use the keyboard if you like. You just set it up through a set-up exe.

i Love MBAC, that is 1 badass game...i want my mbaa pc port. anyway, tried CS hack with a stick and pad as well. at least in my case, it seems to work fine. and no slowdown from what i could tell. i hope this gets a proper home version released really really soon.

Guilty gear lite is more like it yeah. feels slow compared to GG which is a masterpice on its own.

in light of the "oops" leak from last week the home version for continuum shift was announced in the latest issue of Famitsu. A new character will be added to the roster for the home version, named Mu-12 (μ-12-). i fucking called it!
Height: 157 cm
Weight: 48 kg
Birthday: January 7
Blood Type: A
Birthplace: The 13th Hierarchical City "Kagutsuchi"
Hobbies: ??
Likes: ??
Dislikes: The world
CV: Kanako Kandou
The awakened, true form of Noel Vermilion. Her hatred for the world has increased substantially, making her aggressive towards everything. The name of the huge sword on her back is "Kamigoroshi no Tsurugi Kusanagi".
There will be new stages added to the home version in addition to the arcade version stages, and the existing ones will be receiving a graphical revamp. There will at least 11 stages altogether.
Game modes:
Tutorial: Practice and work to learn the basics of the game system.
Arcade: Enjoy the fighting and story of the original arcade version.
Versus: Fight with other players or against the CPU.
Score Attack: Compete for the top score through 15 consecutive matches.
Training: Freely practice special attacks, combos, etc..
Challenge: Complete special missions available for each character.
Legion: Defeat and conquer enemy locations on a map.
Story: Experience the story of each character.
Gallery: Listen to BGM and voice acting, look at artwork, and watch cutscenes.
Replay Theater: Watch the replay data from network mode.
Network: Online game ranking, players can save replays.
At this point they've [ASW] only stated the release date for 2010 with no actual date, and that the game is at 60% completion.
Everything here is thanks to IPlayWinner & Dustloop forums.

note: should think about making a CS thread since at this point it has little to no relevance to CT.

Had this game for awhile now and almost have 100% complete.
Also anyone got an idea who all of the six heroes are?
My guess:
1. Haku-man
2. Nine (Witch)
3. Jubei
4. Hellsing (Dracula, Rachel's father)
5. Lord Tenjo (Bang Shishigami's master and original user of the nail weapon)
6. Terumi (Hazama)

well i dont know for sure.. but every game needs the same region for it to go multiplayer..if it isnt.. it wont.. thats just it.. unless theres a cheat like from monster hunter EUR/US/JAP there was a cheat there.. that can make you join even if its from a different region..XD well its from psp.. if your talking about PS3 im not up for that..

New information on the home version of Continuum Shift:
The updated port will release in Japan for both the PS3 and Xbox360 on July 1 2010 for 7,140 Yen (78 USD). No release date information for any other regions yet.
Arc System Works announced a home version of Continuum Shift just a couple of weeks back, but left out release information. That information came today at the Blue Fes Spring Raid event in Shinagawa. Blue Fes is a BlazBlue fan event where attendees got to view a live recording of the BlazBlue "Bururaji" podcast. Arc held one last year also. This year's event saw appearances by BlazBlue voice actors Tomokazu Sugita, Kanako Kondo and, of course, Asami Imai.
The date announcement came in the latter half of the event from producer Toshimichi Mori and sound producer Daisuke Ishiwatari. In addition to the date, the producers mentioned some of the features of the home version, including new characters, stages and modes. The game has double the animated sequences over the original. The challenge mode, targeting mid to high lvl players has over 300 challenges. The original's story mode returns for the sequel, featuring over 28 stories.
The home version will feature a previously mentioned 3rd new character (μ-12).

A limited ed. was also announced at the event, bundled with a visual book and Noel Nendroid figure. Price is set at 9,660 Yen (105 USD).
So there you have it, Continuum Shift release date announcement, You're welcome.
