Blazblue: Calamity Trigger

I recently played BBCS, and i have to say I'm quite disappointed. The game doesn't make me want to play BB anymore at all. I originally hopped on the BB train because that was where all the competition was, but shit doesn't appeal to me besides it's nice 2d animation and graphics. I'm sticking to GG, because with that, I didn't mind spending HOURS upon HOURS in training mode learning Slayer's full health combos. Perfect how to IAD into j.K. But seriously, I know BBCS made a step up for most of the characters I used, but overall, pretty lame. And the endings of certain characters lead you to believe yet ANOTHER BB coming our way. An example would be Hakumen's ending, I played his route only, but man oh man, cliff hanger made me hate this game even more. IF anything, at least it has a much better story than GG, but thats really it. =/

Seems the Jap iso is out BUT no one has any solid proof yet that it works on cfw. It works on GEN-D3.

console trailer for continuum shift over here
i must say, for a trailer about continuum shift, it sure has a lot of calamity trigger scenes in it, still very relevant to my interests though, love the new theme!

I prefer to use Rachel Alucard and Noel Vermillion. Rachel might be a bit hard to use because her damage output is pretty low but I think Noel might be a bit easier to use. As for sites, try here

I know kinda obvious isn't it? xD

Lol, I guess so. But anyway I'll give this game a shot then.
And do some snooping around the web for some sites.

I've never actually played this, is it better than GG?no, and this is just my opinion, but guilty gear Accent Core is a much better experience overall.

What would you rate it personally, in you own opinion?C++

Who's your favorite? Who do you recommend? Any websites to go to?my favorite in CT is rachel, reason being she could pretty much do it all, god like zoning ability and good damage. she has some pretty good setups and can do a safe rush down which usually resulted in your opponent dying in a matter of seconds. her drive [silpheed] is good too, you can use it for zoning & mix up option, and her wind combos were beastly as in average 4k damage. i wouldn't recommend trying her in CS if you're new to blazblue, she got nerfed pretty horribly.
as for CS my main is Tsubaki, new character for the sequel she has some pretty good links, also kara throw. The range is pretty decent on this, and everyone knows she needs some damned range on her vanilla throw.
i recommend starting out with either Ragna or jin seeing as both are good for newbs to the series.

^^ gotta love that Mu-12 Ass.
also, this may not concern many players, but...
The PC version of BlazBlue Calamity Trigger -- yes, the first BlazBlue -- is at long last arriving on May 27. And if you can figure out why the release schedule for this series is so fucked up, I'm all for listening! Arc kept PC gamers waiting, but they'll be making up for it with some free goodies. The official website just opened and it makes note of two features.
The first feature is cross-platform play with the Xbox 360 version. This means that owners of the PC version and the Xbox 360 version can play against one another.
The other feature is free downloadable content. The Xbox 360 version of the game had several paid DLC packs for color pallets for the characters and unlimited versions of some characters. These are all included for free on the PC version.
The PC site also has a spec chart. In the chart, circle means required and double circle means recommended. Triangle means the item has been confirmed as compatible.

Damn, I'll be buying this as soon as the PC version hits retail. Wouldn't surprise me if it won't be available where I live though, because you know...it's 2D, it's anime styled. Netherlands tend to avoid that shit.

ground breaking news for fans of squirrels!!!
YES, a fukken squirrel.
console release is getting closer and plans for DLC are already taking shape.
It was announced that DLC will include additional playable characters, system voice arrangements featuring popular voice actors, and additional character colors. No more specifics have been announced.
it appears as though the other DLC character will be v-13...no [dlc] release date has been announced, but I am effin ecstatic about squirrel girl Makoto.
